  1. Sigh. Keep Jennings at RT, and put McKinnie at LT. Mike Williams sucks balls, and anyone who thought he was going to be a great tackle was an idiot. That includes Tom Donahoe.
  2. He might've played one or two years with Chris Simms, but that doesn't make it the equivalent of playing LT. The technique is completely reversed, and you're usually dealing with a different type of player at RDE than at LDE
  3. Yes, I am better/smarter than Donahoe, at least in this specific case of drafting Mike Williams at #4. Where was I four years ago? I was calling Mike Williams a future bust.
  4. I disagree completely. I knew Williams had a great chance to be a bust because he was fat and he wasn't oustandingly quick in college. As it turns out, dude ended up having trouble staying in shape (which goes a long way towards staying healthy) and dealing with quick defensive ends. I knew he was a horrible risk to take at #4 overall, and Donahoe should've known as well.
  5. Has there been confirmation that the Bills are even interested? I know it makes sense to go after this guy, but that's the thing about making sense; the Bills don't.
  6. I agree 100% with everything Alaska Darin has wrote in this thread. I can't really add anything. I just want to say. Jerry Gray is stupid and a bad coach. I'm glad he's gone.
  7. Lighten up. I do agree that guys do fall, however. Of the two, DaBrick is much more likely to fall to Buffalo than Mario. I can see teams pooh-poohing Ferguson's run-blocking and allowing him to fall to 8. However, Mario is just a man without weakness, and I can't see any way the Bills are lucky enough to get him. I'll bet $100 to anyone's $10 that Mario won't fall to 8, and $30 to anyone's $10 that DaBrick won't.
  8. Cover 2 relies on the defensive line to pressure the QB without blitzes. That doesn't sound like us, and hasn't sounded like us for a decade.
  9. You're arguing that a great TE is more valuable than a great LT? Given his bigness, he's probably more suited for LT, anyways.
  10. Mr. Trade Down (pleasepleasepleaseplease....) was invited to the combine? No Mario, No Brick, trade down, old man...
  11. Incidentally, where can I get a Moorman jersey?
  12. Moorman is the best player on our team, but no matter what how athletic you are, kickers and punters are still vastly more likely to be injured taking a tackle than your regular position players. We can't risk injury to the best player on our team by having him carry the ball, imo. He goes down, then we might end up with some crappy ass punter like Seattle's who can't down the ball inside the 20 at all.
  13. Strange. I thought he might've been the best player on the field, and the one Seahawk truly deserving of Super Bowl victory. He made quick decisions and was on the money most of the time. His tight end failed him, or else he could've been Super Bowl MVP.
  14. He was wildy inaccurate for much of the game. His own coach said he needed to settle down. Yes, he did make some winning plays, but overall, he played nervous in his first Super Bowl. He's 23. It happens.
  15. That was interesting, at least. I learned that "I thought came" said really fast can sound like "!@#$ing"
  16. Ben choked in this game, no question about that. You could see it on his face, too; he was tight. But he was still awesome against Indy and Denver and is still a great, young QB. If Ben ever gets back to the Super Bowl, I'm sure he'll play much better, similar to how he played much better this year in the playoffs after he choked last year. Overall, despite a poor game today, I'd much rather have him as my QB than JP.
  17. Well, Faneca deserved more credit for that play, imo. All Willie did was run untouched down the sideline. Of course, he is a fast little monkey, but I believe more credit should be given to the block that sprung him.
  18. I expect Levy, Jauron, Losman, our OC, our DC to all fail. I expect, due to loyalty or lack of death, it will take 7-8 years before Levy is gone and 4-5 years before Jauron is gone. Then the next regime will need time to rebuild. And that's assuming the next regime is even good. With some luck, Bills should contend for a championship in 2015 or so.
  19. Even that TD catch was shaky. I thought he was going to stumble over his feet and drop it.
  20. In all seriousness, Randle-El should have gotten some consideration. Made the perfect pass on the gadget play, and he got the first down that effectively sealed the game.
  21. Seattle hardly deserved to win. Could Jerramy Stevens choke any more? He couldn't even get out of bounds on that last catch. And THEY KEPT THROWING TO HIM, when it was obvious that he was gagging. If you know one of your players is choking, ADJUST. How 'bout that end of half execution? Why can't the punter even come close to pinning a team deep? Ill-timed penalties, etc, etc Pittsburgh didn't play great, but they outplayed Seattle, which isn't saying much, but it's still true.
  22. Probably a play on words, being that the head referee was named Leavy.
