Bengals assembling one terrible oline
-
If Ray Ray wasn’t so terrible returning punts last year we wouldn’t have needed roberts. fumbling, letting the ball bounce past him and roll for 20 yards, no good returns, and not adding anything to the receiver core, what does he expect.
and miller has been terrible the last 2 years, maybe he should have had some motivation then

Jets have added:
G: Jets added LG - Osemele - we added his capable backup
RB: Jets added RB L Bell - we added 35 yr old F Gore
LB: Jets added LB CJ Mosely - we added nothing to the DF7
They are also paying over 40 mil a year for those 3. Osemele had a down year last year, bell has been out of football for a year, and mosely is more of a run stuffer.
Also adding gase as a head coach doesn’t qualify as a great move to me either

Ed Oliver would not surprise me one bit.
Another guy who I know isn't on most people's radar but who has "process" written all over him is Christian Wilkins from Clemson.I think Gary is also a strong option along with these 2

Don’t the Jets have a bunch of open roster spots to fill? Seems like they are going a little overboard. Mosley is a solid player. So they have picked up Osemele, Barr, Crowder, and Mosley
Ya that’s around 50 million they already spent, they better hope these moves pan out

I think they should take it a step further and award points for more things. First downs, sacks , turnovers, timeouts, etc. the possibilities are endless. There would be no more boring games if the scores were 200 to 225

Yep. Sign Bell.
Trade Carr, their two late First to AZ for 1st overall
1st overall Draft Murray
4th overall Draft Josh Allen.
You think Carr has that much trade value? That would equal out to the 5th or 6th overall pick for compensation for him

How can you sign someone who is franchised tagged? That doesn't make any sense.
Depending on the type of franchise tag but if you sign them and the players team doesn’t match you lose 2 first round picks

Wasn’t the rumor the bills were interested in trading for him, signing him would cost 2 first round picks

Why’s everyone talking about bringing in big name WR? We need to fix oline first. Are there any elite olineman out there on the trading block that we can scoop up?
Probably because we just tried to trade for a big name wr

So does the tampering period start a week before free agency now
-
I thought he progressed and was decent last year, still needs to improve a lot but to not make the team is a bit of a stretch I think. Right now I would say foster is ahead of him on the depth chart, we would need to add like 4 starting caliber wrs for this to happen
-
Don’t understand why teams keep trading with the pats. Almost like they want to help them keep winning

I was talking about Tenny Palepoi who we signed from San Diego last year then cut him.
Ya not sure comparing palepoi and luiget to each other simply because they came from the same team is reasonable

Adding Antonio Brown doesn't make us that much better. He would probably be the worst thing for Allen IMO. An ego like that with a "give me the ball" attitude won't help Allen. Look at his great relationship with Roethlisberger. You think adding that crap will help a young QB like Allen? I guarantee you if he comes to Buffalo, he's not catching 100+ balls. He's not catching 90 balls. I'd be shocked if he caught 80+ balls. Oh, Brown would love that...Would work wonders for a young QB.
So adding a top 3 wr for the last 6 years wouldn’t help the bills much? His relationship with Big Ben was fine up til this year. Wasn’t Big Ben calling out the other wrs too and blaming them. Lotta of problems in Pittsburgh, like I said maybe it’s not all him. And your guarantees about catches is pretty meaningless.
im curious if a top wr won’t help the bills what will. Golden Tate? The wr you said you would get in another thread. Basically the same age, will probably cost almost as much money, hooks up with his qbs girlfriend, also brings drama, and is not even close to being on the same level talent wise. Brilliant

I would be ok with a trade down, pick up another second and take him around 15-20. 9 seems a little high but what do I know

Didn't the last DT was got from the chargers stink?
Because they are all the same, not sure who you are talking about either

Danny Briere and Chris Drury
And Campbell

20-25 sacks, defensive player of the year

This was the one guy I was hoping the bills would get. If we don’t make another move I will still consider this a successful free agency

We could pretty much use a starter or need depth at every position besides qb and safety, so I’ll be happy with any position almost

So trading for a vet linebacker can be an asset for our younger defensive players -- but trading for a WR to help mentor our younger offensive players has "disaster written all over it?"
A lot of people apparently think the vet wr will whine and complain if Allen struggles, not that a proven successful wr could actually help Allen and give him a reliable weapon
