Nice, was waiting for one of these. How many players are they allowed to meet at the combine?
-
thanks, thats what i thought. If we lose zb he would be a good second round targetI see him as more of an all round guy than an edge rusher in the way Mack is. To me Reddick is more like this year's Deion Jones or Darron Lee. He is a better pass rusher than Jones or Lee but I don't think he is a big sack number guy at the NFL level I think he fits inside in a 3-4 and as the WLB in a 4-3 who gives you superb athleticism and some pass rush adaptability.
-
Is he more of an actual lb or a edge rusher
-
And then he stays in school like luck and screws the bills
-
Bills meeting with watson tonight
-
Anyone have a list of players the bills have met with so far?
-
they are not complaining about talking about tyrod but yet another new thread that brings it up when this could have been posted in one of those many other existing threadsIf you gentlemen aren't interested in further discussion on the topic of TT and the QB future don't open or comment on them. Its pretty easy,.

i love when people bash whaley for rumors and stuff that he hasnt even done. Makes it pretty obvious the guy can do no right to them and he is simply next in line for people to blame to get their agenda acrossYou may want to take in to account that it is probably completely made up by someone who is shilling for "marquee" teams live Denver and constantly runs down "inferior" teams like the Bills before you blame Whaley for something he hasn't even done.
-
thats because if u tank u are guaranteed to win the superbowl in a couple years, cant believe everyone doesnt know that by now...There is actually a group on this board that WANTS the team to implode
if you can believe it
-
we will probably lose woods and zb also, plus a bunch of other cheaper guys that might get picked up. Doubt we will add that many free agentsNot if we sign anyone.
-
plus we should get a 3rd round comp pick for him next year tooWhat you're failing to touch on is our resources. Letting a CB go via free agency and spending a first rd pick to replace him is getting us nowhere, is basically what you're saying, right? What's not being said is that we are going to use the 13-15 million we would've spent on Gilmore on the positions we would've spent our draft picks on. Only instead of getting one player for 13-25 million, we will have 2-3 players. It's a numbers game. And right now we have MANY free agents that either started or played significant snaps. How do we replace them if we use over half of our cap room on 1 player? We can't. We'd have the worst depth in the league. The league in which injuries are the norm and depth is necessary. While I would like to keep Gilmore, the numbers game just doesn't match up. No matter how you spin it, there's no way we can pay Gilmore what he wants and fill out the roster with solid players, unless we hit on all of our draft picks and minimum salary free agents. The likelihood of that happening is close to zero imo. We can't put ourselves in a position where we have little to no cap room in a year or 2, just like we are this year.

Why do people want to get rid of players just because they are old: kyle, mccoy for a rb, and lorax. Why dont we wait til their play actually starts to decline, all three had arguably their best seasons. I remember we got rid of fat pat williams causd he was old, went on to dominate in minnesota for years. While i agree we shouldnt overpay for lorax if he will resign for 3-6 mil a year why wouldnt you, great leadership & effort and he produces. Also depth as a edgerusher which after shaq and hughes we have none
-
little does he know mccoy is about to be cut, according to some sources
-
Seems like alot of good cb prospects, might be able to find some decent ones in rounds 3-5. Mahomes in the third i think is highly unlikely, i bet his stock keeps rising to a first rounder
-
shouldnt be much of a drop off in talent or production either seeing how all rbs are a dime a dozen and dont mean anything to the success of a teamWell now that Shady's off the roster, resigning Freddy seems to be the right thing to do.
-
but tanking and rebuilding doesnt always work. Look at jacksonville for example, always picks in the top 5 or 10 and still continues to suck. Leftwich, gabbert, and now probably bortles were all top 10 franchise qbs that didnt work outI think the Bills are tired of bumping along at 7-9 or 8-8 year after year. They put together incomplete teams and lose games that winners win.
Shady is a great back and the Bills are clearly better with him on the field. But they can't win consistently with a RB-centric offense. To be fair to Shady, who deserves a shot at a ring, the Bills should trade him to a serious contender. He's only got a couple of years left before the legs start to go, and he can spend those years watching the Bills finish third or fourth in the AFCE, or possibly turning a strong team into a SB winner.
The Bills have been assembling a Camaro when they need a Corvette. Right now they have a Camaro with a couple of Corvette parts (Shady, Watkins) but they need the whole car to be effective. Better to be a Prius for a year and turn the whole thing around. Shedding Shady would hurt us in the short term, but help him and maybe help us in the long term.
-
I remember alot of people calling him a bust and another wasted pick, who would have thought sometimes players take time to develop
-
he has been anti mccoy the whole time so of course he wants this thread to be trueIts in Badol's TBD contract to post up in all threads that paint the Bills as bafoons. Its why he posts so much.

i knew it was just a matter of time til watkins is gone started. I think that about covers all our good players so far this offseasonFrom what I understand, DW and the personnel department send out daily emails to all 53 players updating them on what they're considering.
I'm sorry, major, but this sounds like bunk. Shady and Watkins both on the trading block - our only two offensive weapons? And you heard this from a player? Because players know what DW is thinking ("considering")?
None of this makes any sense.
-
i dont understand why people want to cut our good players. We can cut graham, carpenter, easley, and lewis and almost free up 10 mil. Instead of cutting our best players we can restructure 4-5 of them to free up another 5 mil giving us almost 40 mil in cap room. Why do we want to have 70 mil in cap room but no good playersWhaley gave the eagles crap( Busted up Kiko ) he was a genius in that trade. Why cut a playmaker when you can cut both Kyle Williams and Eric woods saving us close to 14 mill in cap space
-
or stay in school one more yearWith our luck whatever qb tanker's have their eye on will have a horrible season in college.
-
Bills offseason recap so far: mccoy, tyrod, wood, and kyle all gone. Whaley worst gm ever. Mccderment horrible hire. Gilmore, zb, woods, lorax not returning. Ragland cant play lb and is a bust. Cardale has 0% chance of ever being good. And a bunch of players left are really slow. Things are looking up
-
this is a ridiculous post, all rbs are the same and dont mean anything? Are u kidding me. Look at the difference in our offense in games shady didnt play, look at dallas with zeke from mcfadden. There are countless examples of good rbs making teams betterA. When you have a QB that has a hard time passing for TD's of course your RB will rack up more touchdowns.
B. When has a "premium" RB ever made such a difference on a team?
C. RB's are interchangeable, we dont need some stellar running back talent to win in the league.
Look at Legarrette Blount. Two less TD's than McCoy on the season, a handful less running yards, yet the evil genius hd no problem benching him in the FREAKIN SUPERBOWL, his backup had an amazing game, their offense didnt miss a beat, and the Pats still crushed their opponent.
McCoy is not a make it or break it player. I really dont care if hes on the team or not in 2017
-
i thought mccoy was upset about lack of accountability, which under rex there was none. Disconnect with whaley? Does mccoy even deal with whaleyI do not have Instagram, but that further confirms my source. Apparently, McCoy wasn't thrilled with the Rex firing. He felt it was too quick. Front office disconnect, especially with Whaley, reached a peak over the last few weeks. Stay tuned.
Cleveland Heavily After Tyrod Taylor.

If cleveland really wants him they will probably offer something, if he hits fa he will probably choose to go somewhere else unless they way overpay in which case his current contract will be cheaper. Not sure about a first but i could see a second or third or multiple mid rounders. bradford got a first and i dont think hes much better
