I love how some people blame whaley for losing mg but give him no credit for finding him off the street in the first place and getting a 5th rd pick for him in a very deep draft, alot of good depth at the rb position
Arent mg's stats about exactly the same as karlos's the year before. Thats 2 years in a row 2 different players had similar stats in a bu role but now it will be impossible to replace that?
cool story
nope, apparently mg is irreplaceable. Gameover same here, dont understand why some people dont think players improve after a year or two.Countless examples every year, even the great mg improved over time
he forgot the 5th we get for mg, and that 3rd and 4th comp wouldnt be gauranteed. They also depend on how the playing time and other things. If it just went by player additions and subtractions we would have gotta a 6th or 7th this year but didnt. They were probably counting on guys like douzable, bryant and felton getting signed but they havent yet
whether the plan works or not is up for debate but to say they dont have a plan is ridiculous. So they just show up to work and take wild guesses at things and make random moves?
I also love how people bring up cap mismanagement. When ralph was owner we always had money left, we seldom kept our star players and rarely big spenders in fa and people complained ralph was cheap. Now we do and people calls it cap mismanagement.
We were able to sign alot of players in fa and didnt have to cut star players who contribute. And we still have cap left and plenty next year
ya i guess the smart thing to do would be to cut ties with a first round qb, or any position, after a couple years cause you know a player never improves after a year or two
If all rumors right first four weeks are set: NYJ, at Carolina, Den, at Atlanta
Nice, a quick 4-0 start will help build some momentum on our way to the playoffs
so availability is more important than talent? We should just cut our injured players then and sign healthy ones just they can be available every week
what he said
so hes better than a player who not only hasnt played a down in the nfl but also hasnt even been drafted yet, amazing. I vote for mg to be put on the wall of fame, lets stop wasting time.U do realize mg was a 5th round pick
