  1. If Tyrod feels the pressure to overcompensate for the disastrous behavior of his teammates-- for Pete's sake one of his main weapons on O decides to quit working out and quit on the team. -- the highest paid player chooses getting high over his team and city.. All this is more pressure on Tyrod. If he can't handle it, if he gripps-- 4/12 is not an impossibility.
  2. I'm still surprised they took him so early in FA. He's not at all the quick twitch type that Edelman and Welker are. I guess we'll see soon enough.
  3. I hate the new contact rules as much as you do-- wow the ref had that flag in the air mighty quick, didn't he? It's the teams with short memories-- that can play through the impossible penalty flags-- and not dwell on them, that will be winners. It's gonna happen. Great efforts and huge athletic big time tackles are going to be flagged, it's gonna suck. All we can hope for is that it evens out in the end. I wish you could review these penalties, but that would never happen.
  4. if TT goes down for any time at all, this could be the worst team since Gregg
  5. I would take the TARDIS to Ralph's house on new years day -- the first day of 2000 and persuade him NOT to order Wade to start RJ over Flutie in one weeks time. It's my believe that intrusion-- not only being the wrong decision on game day -- was also a seismic wave across the NFL that poisoned our chances of landing a serious coaching staff from that moment until the sale of the team.
  6. When Rex hired Rob, it became evident to me the he's certain he and staff will not be retained. He's positive he can't coach to the level of the competition. They probably made a secret deal for Rob to give Rex a big portion of his salary when they're released a year from now.
  7. Giving Leodis punt return duties. It's decisions like this one that blows my mind. Rex must do what's best for the team and not for the player.
  8. In two weeks this win will be aweful. But it feels good now and I'm happy for the soaking wet patrons.
  9. To Pegulas: fire fast, hire slow.
  10. He reminds me of Tony Banks. And not the good one from Genesis.
  11. It's his mental health I worry about. When Buffalo is in a position to win it all --sooner or later-- I worry his volatility will cost us.
  12. I though this topic was about the sack TT took for stepping out of bounds before throwing the ball. That play was an example of unfit officials making a bad call I can imagine TT asking the ref who made that costly call if he thinks he's that stupid as to step out of bounds before throwing.
  13. Brady* gets the ball out in what--2.5 seconds? A strategy to explore might be, instead of rushing four and (mostly) come up empty--have the bigs stop, and raise their arms to block the lanes.
  14. I had thought Springsteen was a US only superstar-- I didn't think his message was one that would resonate--as prominent-- in other countries. Wow was I surprised when Ichecked out his career record sales.
  15. Not yet. When they win big in their current style, I'll be open to that.
  16. I have faith TT can hit the receivers coming out of their break. And faith in WR's to run crisp routes. Clay will be huge. I've changed my tune on Richie and have been impressed.
  17. Thompson looks great. Like he doesn't give a care who's covering him. Confident!
  18. Bills Toronto Raptors Haven't followed Sabres since the Hasek /Nolan debacle--but Terry and Kim have me quite interested in jumping on any and all bandwaggons in the future.
  19. They probably have a deal with each other that when Brady* retires, Beli* will come out with a statement taking full responsibility. Maybe even say it's an old trick cold weather teams have been doing for years.
  20. Yep the media is always going to hate the Bills. No one was ever fired picking the Bills to lose. No one ever will be.
  21. The more I think about this trick The Patriots* did, the more it bothers me. Even if the deflation of balls aided in only one non fumble-- or in Brady's case (if it resulted) in just one first down throw completion where a league ball would've fallen incomplete, the snowball effect of these undeserved plays cannot be gauged. Cheating pigs.
  22. I'll bet there's a lot of turnover at the NFL Network's HR dept.
  23. Is this a big cut Fred thread?
  24. I hope you're wrong. Another losing season would be hard to take.
