  1. I'd like to see an explanation for this. Listening to an NFL spokesman recently he mentioned only the crown of the helmet (when used as a spear) is a pena;lty. Face mask hits are OK. This play clearly shows o helmet at all. I'm scared for the Bills this year. I think about it a lot. Especially when playing a very popular AFC East QB who will remain nameless. I'll lose my mind if Buffalo is used as a safe haven (no big media, unknown coach, small market) by the NFL to emphasize their safe hit agenda.
  2. Yeah, If Buffalo was anywhere close to the "Bungles" I'd be much happier going into this season.
  3. I know I don't have any clout on this board but can this spoiled brat be banned?
  4. I said depth. Having, say five db's out of eight on the roster who can play, instead of four who can and four who are lost. If that fifth DB is getting torched, and CJ is leading the AFC in rushing,--look, we need good players on defense is what I'm getting at.
  5. I hope not too (love Fred) but if this team is losing games because of weak special teams, or poor depth at the DB or LG position--and Fred rarely is in the mix on offense, it'll be a dis-service to the team to keep him.
  6. With CJ being clearly the main man, I'm willing to bet there's some though of cutting Fred for the roster spot. So there's a chance he could be a late cut if they feel too weak in other areas.
  7. They're good at it though. Mats and Morgan are phenominal.
  8. Jay Mohr sports is getting better. He's finding his way. The Canadian guys are good; Fan 590 stuff- Bob McCown is great. Brady and Lang. If you like golf talk, Ian Leggett is good.
  9. This one's age is unknown. Like a Cuban baseball ball player.
  10. How great would it be to get good rotation minutes out of him. It'd be a huge boost.
  11. Whoever the QB is he's going to have to be accurate throwing short. I know we all have visions of our Bills throwing long and deep after years of check-downs and whiffle armed ivy leaguers. But CJ is still the main threat and must get the ball, and I doubt he'll line up wide.
  12. I tend to think Marone made his decision after fifteen minutes of watching Byrd's game film.
  13. Does anyone know of any weekend sports podcasts? It seems the major players pack it up after Friday.
  14. Shepherd cant hold his own in this league. I was happy to see him replaced.
  15. Looked like Hairston/ Glenn highlights.
  16. If they have him they're 6-10 if they don't, they're 5-11. Seems to me the draft pick might be the way to go.
  17. It's so sad we remember that game as if it were a playoff win.
  18. I wipe the slate clean for Dareus. The emotional hurdles this kid had to endure were gigantic.
  19. Ross was quite critical of Buffalo's T.Jackson release on his June 12th podcast.. Noting that his half a million dollar signing bonus was unnecessary, the type of transaction losing teams tend to do. I tend to agree. As for favorite Pod's mine are, Dana Gould Hour John Murphy Show Monday Morning w/ Bill Burr Dan Patrick show This week w/ Larry Miller Adam Carolla
  20. Eric Wood is not on the injury page. I thought he was rehabing something. Is he good to go for training camp?
