  1. If we beat NE we are.gonna lose our ***** here. I pray to the football gods we take care of Cincinnati the way a good team should sunday.
  2. Listen here fans...I want you people focused on one play at a time, stop predicting records and such.
  3. I love greenie, that's honest right there. How awesome was Spears in that segment?
  4. One player not named Patrick Mahomes? EASY. Aaron Donald. Ps: and I love JA. Mahomes is playing Madden.
  5. No, but does that even matter in our division? The national media can tout whatever they want, we all knew the Pats are king of this division and I never expected the jets to contend because they added Le'Veon and Mosley, but the national media sure love them (and of course, Darnold).
  6. He was supposed to get better, but leveon (12m a year), Mosely, they were gonna give them the next level to "challenge the Pats"
  7. Looking back at the pre-season, the Jet's were getting so much hype. Why? Because they added a couple of players to a roster that didn't win all that many games last year. Big deal. There were people that also thought Barkley in year 2 would make the Giants something more than they are. Not looking good at the moment. Too much draft capita spent on one player who doesn't throw. You always need a team, top to bottom, with depth. Even at QB. Matt Ryan was absurd last year and they didn't even finish .500. No depth, you will be a flash in the pan, because this is the NFL and there will always be injuries. Our 2019 Bills team feels like it is built properly with B+, high effort players all throughout the roster, no "look at me" overpaid diva's. You know, kind of how the Pats build their teams every single year (I think the AB thing is 100% about their concern for the Chiefs and a closing window). Look at the best teams at the end, each year. Many good players all through the roster- but more important, guys who bust their ass every single play. "Do their job." We aren't the Pats because...Tom and Bill. But if we can be a cut below them, we are at least in the damn conversation! That is enough for me, right now. The band-aid fixes this team has tried in the past and teams we see around the NFL just don't seem to do much.
  8. Zero chance. Check out my write-up on Culture and this team. Runs contrary to everything we've learned about the process.
  9. And, now lives in Buffalo and seems like an awesome Dad. I am such a fan.
  10. This article goes in detail (sorry if it is in this lengthy thread already) damning. He is a classless human being. https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/09/16/antonio-brown-new-england-patriots-lawsuits-accusations-sexual-midconduct-assault?fbclid=IwAR0nxDVC34SUas5Lh1MSObetsf0pa6huusvTEETzLOIQHHPJb5x9_w3WvRU Some highlights for me: 1) He makes deals with working class folk and decides they ought to be happy to be in his presence, creates a conflict with them and then refuses to pay (always pay the working man you POS) 2) A constant cycle of firing people to escape paying at all levels - bs promises of partnerships etc 3) came on a young woman's back 4) Raped the same girl. fk him. 5) Tomlin was really the only guy he ever listened to as a pro, because he had credibility, came from nothing made it to the top etc.
  11. The two of them are the best interviews, I agree.
  12. I think his ceiling is our current backup QB.
  13. How great is he? I think this guy would be a great coach after he is done playing, but, selfishly, I would love him to take a TV job. He is humble, funny and articulate. Plus I love the sound of his expressive voice. The man has a bright future after he is done winning his Buffalo Super Bowl.
  14. Good post, and I love Pete. But TW is nothing like the loud mouth guys they had. Those guys got on their coach etc. To compare them is really not fair to Tre. There is a mile of difference between confidence and arrogance. I think Tre is the former.
  15. Love him and no diva. But he cant stay on the field anymore.
  16. Actually he was the only one to pick the Bills and I think he was positive on Josh and then defense. He doesn't seem bitter or biased to me. Still a loveable and entertaining guy. Right where he belongs. Talking about football, not coaching it. He's like Phil Simms. Funny.
  17. Apparently he added 15lbs of muscle in the off season. He is a freak.
  18. Don't know about tiers but this would be my ranking: 1. Mahomes (only cause of age) 2. Brady 3. Rivers and Watson 4. Carr, Lamar, Baker and Allen 5. Mariota and Darnold 6. Dalton, Flacco 7. The rest
  19. Yeah, I would argue this is a good example of a A process. But, I think Carroll also has such an infectious personality that serves him well too. I do see one big difference, he does not go for guys that fit a growth minded system cause has had some loudmouth obnoxious dudes there. I do not think those types would last long in this system--that really focuses on growth mindset style learning and humility.
  20. I like her and am glad a woman has a position of power in the NFL.
  21. I did not know I could rename, our old old forum you couldn't. Done. McClappity I shall not say no more.
  22. RIght on. And more importantly, % with wins. Look at Matt Ryan's numbers last year with a losing record. I will take the wins, with the great QB #'s even better.
  23. To all who were Mc-ffended, Mc-turbed or just McBothered. I have taken my own observations of a growth mindset to heart and decided that calling the Coach McClappity is disrespectful and therefore declare my intention to never call him that again. Starting with an edit to the offending title of this thread. Go Bills, Cincy next.
