  1. It would not even be competitive. Every NFL team has over 50 players who were top college studs. Every year this comes up and it's a silly comparison, no matter how good the college team or how bad the nfl team.
  2. No chance. They would wipe them up.
  3. I love Eli Manning and will forever be thankful for what he did to the Patriots. But he would be a 23 million dollar backup here. Silliness.
  4. Part of growth mindset is admitting a mistake and moving on.
  5. Two things that stuck out to me. 1) He has hands man. Zay drops sooo many. So do our TE's at the moment, though I am hopeful for Knox 2) Power, one of his catches he turned a quick tackle and no gain into 3 or 4 yards, the dude is big and strong and can drag some people and run through some tackles, that will show up in weeks to come
  6. Right, for every Sean McVay there are lots of Kitchens, Gase etc- I would far prefer a defensive minded HC. Take a look at SB winning teams...
  7. No. I think we see the approach to building this thing is a team concept-- If they get guys they will fit that mold and are less likely to be splashy.
  8. What was up with him in Mia? No good? Attitude? Is this our next Jerry Hughes like deal?
  9. I do not think there is anyway Brandon brings in a super star receiver, ruins the whole process. I could see him bringing in depth at line etc. I think this is the team TBH-- unless a high character guy like Von Miller is there for the taking I don't see it happening. We embrace a TEAM concept and I think they are OK with that. Next year maybe a superstar, but right now, this team is learning how to win, with no Antonio Brown-like crutch. What will make a difference is more time doing what they did yesterday and letting the game come to them. Josh will get better at hitting the check-down a t the right time, giving them some room to run.
  10. Can we start a new survivor mid-way though or no?
  11. There are no longer any games you need to pen in with a LOSS for this team. Not even a pencil! I'm no longer sure they can't beat just about anyone. Of course they won't be favored all the time, but who the the hell is gonna wanna play the Bills? Yesterday's Josh Allen beats the Pats the previous week, the Pats got back to blowing teams out and the mighty Chiefs fell. If this team keeps getting better and Josh develops the style he played yesterday, we will not be an easy out. Imagine this defense in the playoffs?
  12. Fun read! How much do you love John Brown?? It is so thrilling to have a gm and a coach with a plan. You can trust them. They won't always be perfect but they will not fail because of stubborn pride. We don't have many superstars, instead, we got a ton of hard-working, legit, NFL caliber players. Each week there will new stars because they all play hard together.
  13. I feel so much more comfortable with Roberts back there.
  14. Whelp. I think this will cement the legend of The Duke.
  15. Seems like Josh not making mistakes is helping him to build his confidence. How good is John Brown??
  16. We can afford Miller, that would be sick. lol- love it. I would as well. Its freaking Von Miller, a game-changer.
  17. All those skills with a brain the size of a pea.
  18. Zay has skills, can block and run good routes. But god he drops so many passes an NFL receiver ought to make. I think those plays, Sean mentioned where he needed to become DB for the teams sake really hurt his chances here. Can Duke get any separation? This is my biggest question.
  19. I am friends with several hall-of-famers, does that count?
  20. Fair post and agreed. Pats are the gold standard and the Bills stood toe to toe. Time will tell if our team is for sure legit, and we are a sour bunch here right now, ignore the hate... a win next week will show us how our team bounces back. I'd say good luck, but my gravity toward the evil empire.only extends so far. ?
  21. Pats punter is absurdly good. Seemed every kick was going 65 yards in the air no matter where he hit it from.
  22. That it's only 7 surprises me. I doubt anyone but brady being out would drop it.
