Chris and Mike, nice long take on Bills & Win
foreboding replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They both picked the niners. Eating a little crow. I do find Simms very entertaining and he is a big Josh Allen guy. -
Cole Beasley is the absolute goods. What a signing!

He is so clutch. As Shno-man said: He goes at a 150 smiles per hour. 🤣 -
Playbooks staying and leaving with Daboll
foreboding replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
See, I think Daboll is such a quality, humble guy and teams will see the Bills culture and combined with Joshs' development he is as good as gone. Which I hate. -

They are 100% in on Bills. In addition to fawning over Josh and saying they both think the Bills are legit SB contenders now, I loved this comment: "McDermott and Daboll aren't overmatched and can match wits with any coach."- 37 replies

Eagles HC Pederson on the hot seat with job status
foreboding replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Five years later (after the last SB victory, Coughlin resigned. He was old and was made GM in Jax. So, yeah, SB winning coaches do get nabbed, esp those with recent wins. You honestly think Pederson would be out a job? Oh yeah, Dan lost, historically. Circle, not cycle, as in flush. Wentz' grow on trees? Well, maybe, we will have to wait on that one, it certainly didn't appear that way last year. -
I like it, also it is not subjective which is cool. It looks at data and not surprisingly the best teams are all in there. Thanks for the effort.

It is weird as Wentz is clearly a very talented guy. Losing Reich must have hurt, but as other posters mentioned, the lack of a surrounding cast is inexplicable. I just think Josh is far too completive, and maybe I am up to my chin in the Kool-aide, but I think the sky is the limit with our kid and I cannot fathom him falling as hard as Wentz. He seems to lack confidence right now, though he seems to wear a game face and try. I do think the Wentz story is far from over, he will re-emerge at some point. Interesting perspective. Kind of like they did with RG3 his first year and even Lamar.

Step right up folks, myself and other members of this Bills Mafia fan board are now taking applications to join the Buffalo Bills bandwagon. We have room for you all, as long as you swear fealty to the baldest one and our baby-faced gunslinger. Buying a Josh Allen jersey IS encouraged, but we will also allow Diggs, Beasley, Edmunds, Dawkins or White and if they must buy BASS, well, who can really disagree. I mean that is a cool shirt. So far, my TB buddy and two Eagles friends/fans told me they are now on the Bills bandwagon. All said, "Josh Allen sure is fun to watch." I agree, ain't this fun?

National Attention: You Got It, Now Pressure Is On Us
foreboding replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy, with the phins game, if it matters (hopefully we got it wrapped by then) it could be ALL our remaining games. Cheer for that long-suffering fellow fans! It does feel nice, I think our boys are gonna deliver. They might lose 1 or 2 close ones, but I think this team is done getting blown out, they've turned a corner and are ramping up for post-season. -
Yep. I love his skills, but damn if Milano doesn't seem to be made of glass. He just cannot stay available.
-
Is it me, or does Klein not seem like surest tackler of the three? He might not have the wheels those guys have, but it seems like he often gets his arms around the guy and brings him to the ground. That being the case, maybe he helps our Run D.

Eagles HC Pederson on the hot seat with job status

Did Jauron win a SB, over the Pats? And no, as we well know QBs don't grow on trees, firing coaches for it is a great way to get in the toilet circle. -
NFL Power Rankings Week 13
foreboding replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think without Brees the order should be as follows, mine is based on POWER not RECORD. 1. KC 2. Steelers 3. GB 4. TN 5. Buff 6. NO (moves to 3 or 4 with Brees) 7. CLE (Wow, in top 10!) 8. SEA 9. Mia 10. TB -
Is the NFL Better than Ever Today?
foreboding replied to May Day 10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand the violent sentiment of the ole' gridiron, I am 52 and remember it well. But the game is far more fun to watch when the star QBs can play. I once bemoaned the changes to defensive rules. Now, as the OP is suggesting, I think the game is faster, they score more points and the guys do not get as grossly injured. With their size and speed today, were it combined with yesterdays rules, we would see people dying out there, not interested in that. It is good that Brady and Brees can still get out there. Just not in the AFCE I think the game is actually better now, while there are wayyy less TO's without the crushing hits, the game is more precise, replay has helped as well. -
Eagles HC Pederson on the hot seat with job status
foreboding replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Pederson wouldn't last a day on the job market, Lurie has to know that. I think the GM is as good as gone. Pederson won them a SB in 2017 and that afterglow hasn't completely faded. -
Seems like Leslie and Sean realized we do not have the DLine to sit back and apply four man fronts effectively. We are blitzing a lot now and from several angles. Much more aggressive... and while the propensity to give up some big plays is likely as a result, it seems we are seeing a much more effective defense. I suspect the TO's and sacks will continue to sharply climb and we will end up top 5 in both, cause we know there are playmakers in that secondary.

They won't fire him, if they do he's probably a HC somewhere else, this year. I think they have a talent problem (maybe QB) and he is not the GM and it wasn't that long ago he was toast of the league. -

Impact of Bad Coaching on Good Talent
foreboding replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is the obsession with Harbaugh? He is a tyrant and he ruined the niners after a brief run of success and now sucks at Michigan. Might as well get Chip Kelly. Same sad resume. More likely to lose Daboll to them. I think he is as good as gone. If you have a young 6'6" QB, who better than Brian Daboll? Sad but true. -
Can't figure out Devin Singletary.
foreboding replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can either of them become Austin Ekeler? Cause that is what this offense could use. AKA: Thurman Thomas.
