  1. He got a gig as a starter.
  2. I assume this is sarcasm or humor? Yeah?
  3. Spots are almost all filled! Crazy, Beane is wide open in the draft. We might see a RB if they love one of them...
  4. You have to remember, two TEs in the game at the same time, also gives you a massive offense live extension and it favors running the ball as well. When the TEs do both (block and catch) well, it creates bad matchups. Easy to see what they plan to do. Agholor will the long route guy to try over the top and keep the defense honest.
  5. For sure it is a losable game for us now. It would be ignorant to think otherwise. Bill Belichick didn't just up and forget how to coach. That they beat some good teams last year, and with that putrid team, it is admirable. As far as this spending spree the Pats are on? I don't recall ever seeing a team spend so much money all at once, it's insane and I am afraid it will probably work. The Pats WILL get the most of their talent, and all of sudden they got a shittle-ton of it. Cam is the weak link and I understand the skepticism, it is warranted. He seems to need momentum to be good, and is a bit of a head case, imo. But, I do think Daniels can devise an effective offense with Cam's legs with mostly easy throws to big guys...and 80 million in (new) proven talent. That said, we got us a sonafabitchin' offense and I still like our chances, but for damn sure it got harder.
  6. I think anyone who dislikes this is nuts. A young, super expensive FA WR is NOT our biggest need right now. But ESanders!?! Here is what I like about the signing: 1. Really, really smart and crafty player, willing to go off schedule with the QB. 2. Can play slot or run deep routes, has the size and thump to beat man coverage 3. No need to bring him up to speed, I guarantee he comes into camp, ready to go. Ready to add to a (now) veteran team ready to win (now). 3. Diggs, Beasley and Sanders are 3 of the slickest route runners in the league. Add in Gabe Davis, who also has these attributes and its gonna be damn near impossible to cover that group. 4. Good price, one year. Perfect. Can you image if we had an RB who could break a tackle or two on his way through the line?
  7. God, I hope now. POS beat his lady.
  8. Agreed. Maybe this is indeed the plan.
  9. This makes so much sense. What Beane is doing makes sense. You cannot possible hit on all your FA and draft picks. But WHEN you get them right, keep them HERE. This small but improbable step is what grows a deep, quality team. Beane and McDermott get it.
  10. Agreed, I do not blame him, but it isn't a great look and his new team is going to be hamstrung for future capital.
  11. Watson has a legit gripe. I mean, look at what they did to that team. BUT, this was a previous regime and I think you have to give the new guys a chance. Stafford, totally different deal. He suffered with that ***** org for a decade plus.
  12. Nah, they are close to being a playoff team and 200x closer than Houston. It makes sense, closer to his home, good QB, he knows DHop and prolly got good reports and they paid him well.
  13. Ha! No thanks. There is zero chance a Josh Allen QB'ed team would ever win only 4 games.
  14. No they haven't "given up the fight." Not at all true.
  15. D-Line is the catalyst to win championships and can stop an elite QB. Last night we saw exactly what happens when even an elite QB can be rushed with four linemen. Mahomes was brutalized and his WRs etc were not open, since they had seven back in coverage.
  16. I think as Edmunds grows into himself and the game, he might end up elite. No way I let him walk yet.
  17. Let us put QB aside for a second. I think that the clear gaps in our teams were pretty easy to see in the following three guys: CHRIS HARRIS TYREEK HILL TRAVIS KELCE All three are gamebreakers. We need some more juice. As such, I am hoping McBean finds a unique play maker, if avail, at our pick. Depite my past worries about drafting a round 1 rb, our running game blows and Najee would be a good step, a huge playmaker. And Hill? He was like a pogo-stick out here, he is absurd and damn near impossible to stop. We need some of that juice.
  18. Yeldon was easily better then Singletary out there. He rarely gets tackled for a 1 yard gain, which seems to be Singletary's go to play. No idea why he wasn't used this year. So much bigger than our tiny little fellas.
  19. He seems a perfect compliment to motor and a heavy hauler if we do need to burn the game clock. Surprised we aren't kicking the tires.
  20. Fun topic, but how about..."I trust Beane?"
  21. It is a little known secret that in 2027, the Saints intend to field a team entirely composed of Canadian football players. After that season, they will be back to $0 cap hit.
  22. He is rich (Stafford), but will be a cliff note in NFL history because he was hamstrung by the worst franchise in NFL history. Bummer, but hey, enjoy the wealth!
  23. I like Warrow. His questions are simple and repetitive, and are for the 101 level fan, but he is so likeable the players/coaches all smile and answer.
  24. You think Watson will approve a trade to the Jets?!? Miami, for sure.
