Do you think Oliver is the 'Kyle replacement' we are looking for? While he's a stud athlete...seems like he plays small...280lbs?

I don’t advocate for drafting DK at 9. I’m not convinced how he will turn out. But you gotta think...if McBeane and squad have their pick of the litter at WR in this draft...and picking one at 9 is likely going to be the ‘best WR in the draft’ (in the minds of McBeane).....then I say go for it. I don’t see a consensus #1 WR in this draft. And there certainly doesn’t appear to be a Megatron or Julio type talent. Sammy Watkins was also the consensus #1 WR in the draft once, too. Thursday please.

I’m struggling with this logic. Which positions are acceptable at 9? I could Make an argument that every position (except QB, DE and ILB) is too early to pick at 9. Wouldnt you take Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Gronk, Shannon Sharpe at 9??? yes - these are the greatest of all time... Is Hock a SPECIAL player? More special than Wilkins or Burns or Gary? I think so.... is he in a position of need? Definitely. Im thrilled with the pick of they make it.

I see him as a great replacement for Kyle. Step right into some big shoes to fill - with some big shoes. Very talented kid from NorthEast (Mass). Played against (and was superior to) the most elite college competition. High character locker room leader. Yes he seems to be going later than 9 in most mocks but talent wise he’s not that far off.

Assuming you don’t have a player you must take at 9 that’s available. In exchange for Bills #9 Raiders give 24, 35 and 2020 2nd round pick.

Tell me why this high quality young man SHOULD NOT be our pick at 9.....
