Won't be week 9 but week 17 when we rest the starters before the 1st playoff game.

And KC scares me more than the patsies*** -

Sunday's weather high in the upper 70s and cloudy with wind at around 10. Shouldn't be a factor. Need Shady to get going early. -

This whole season now has a different feel. It's not that I'm planning for a win, just not planning for the loss. This year feels like any game is winnable. No slam dunks, but all winnable (even the putridiots***). -
We have #1 ranked Defense!!! [confirmed!]

What a difference a week (and a win) makes!!! -
You're absolutely right. The questionable calls went both ways. The von Miller unsportsmanlike is what came up the most, That and the missed PI(think it was Tre, but not sure). I didn't get real far with them (they're real cranky right now). It's probably my fault, they were being such asshats all week I couldn't resist. Think I got banned.

One thing I really liked seeing on Sunday...

I'm no Tyrod fan but this week he absolutely earned his game check -
You might want to go back and read what I wrote one more time. Didn't say I hate the guy, just that I was no fan and then explained why. Nothing I said was inaccurate. I give the man credit for what he does well but if you really are from down state I suspect you don't see as much of him as we do down here. The term delusions of grandeur comes to mind. But you are right about one thing... ROLL TIDE

Why so serious???

Alabama is a house divided. It's either Bama or auburn. Friday night HS, Bama on Saturday and church on Sunday (except during the NFL season). Saban showed his true colors in the way he departed Miami. To top it off as a 40 year Bills fan, Saban's time with the phish tainted him forever for me. Love my Bills and hated wrex, jauron, moron, mularkey. Same with saban and the Tide. I know it's irrational, he's been great for Alabama, maybe because he has the personality of a door knob, but for what ever reason that's the way it is. He's a winner and I can appreciate what he does as a coach and recruiter but wouldn't want to be stuck on a desert island with the guy. Saban will go down with Bryant as an all time great and Alabama is lucky to have him. As far as the patsie*** thing goes, I don't think you can view college ball the same way as the pro game. Jalen Hurts will be gone from Alabama next year and someone will take his place. With any luck there will be no drop off. Brady on the other hand, will go all the way from cocaine to rogaine in his time with the putridiots. Like the Bills, Bama is about the institution, not the won/lost record or the star power of the roster. The Bills, the Cubs, the Packers, the Brooklyn Dodgers, Bama, Notre Dame and many others transcend statistics and championships and are institutions because for a myriad of reasons they resonate with their core fans. There's no such thing as finding a new team to root for.

Everybody anoints saban a lessor god but fail to remember he couldn't find his butt with both hands as HC of the phish. Bama is home and wouldn't miss a Tide game but no fan of saban. He's a recruiting genius and knows how to pick coordinators, but if he's smart he'll stay in Tuscaloosa cause he would simply fail again on the big stage.

Thanks Ice, glad you're back. Watched your game as well. Good weekend for both teams. We are in Alabama lake country 80 miles from Atlanta so we put up with falcon fans all season long. McD will have the Bills as ready as possible, but this is a tough one.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Now, That's What I'm Talkin' About&#
billsfan60 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was pretty much done with Tyrod after week two and felt he needed to go before the bye week. Now I'm not so sure he isn't a special QB. Maybe after yesterday his leash got a little bit longer. You're right Shaw, he also did his job -
Horsey fans at delusional. The officials are out to get them, it was "a classic trap game", and the early game on the east coast was their downfall. Oh and next week is the real test as they will be facing a real offense from the Raiders, not the Buffalo pop gun version. If there's a God we will face them again in the playoffs and bury them twice this year. (yeah, yeah, I know)
-
Meanwhile, over at the horsey ranch, they're take is the officials screwed them.

The crow tastes real good, been a long time since the Bills played a complete game like this.

Gameday Thread Bills vs Broncos 1st Half
billsfan60 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We should all take a knee and pray for a WIN. -
Great idea (if you can guarantee this is the way it would all go down)! Would the Skins do it? Would Cousins sign an extension with Buffalo? Would Kirk have anybody to throw to or the time to throw it? I'm not denigrating the idea, just wondering out loud.

Bills "can't wait to unleash Tyrod Taylor"
billsfan60 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know I'm going to regret this, but just maybe Dennison had no faith in Tyrod's ability to execute the changes and adjustments necessary last week against Carolina. In a one score game maybe he felt the odds were better Shady would break one or two than Taylor suddenly seeing the whole field quickly enough to throw receivers open. Let's see this week before we crucify the OC with two weeks worth of evidence. -

Of course I do. Just not right out of the box. If Cordy was playing, yeah you'd be right but I don't think any QB will do well this week. -

Denver, then Atlanta... then Nate. Want to see him in real game action, not killed behind this O line.
