  1. You make valid points... AND YOU'RE COMPLETELY WRONG!!! have a nice day
  2. You don't get it, do you? What do you think makes people from all across the country and as far away as Europe root for this team? Their great SB victories? Their constant winning seasons? The overwhelming star power of the players? The people of Western New York, no matter if they live in Tonawanda, Tuscaloosa or Trent On Avon now, created the Bills Mafia. Somebody put a label on it but it began at the Rock Pile. It's a community that transcends borders, religions, skin color, politics and nationality. Don't care who or what you are if you love the Bills you're family. Others see it and want to be part of it and that's how it grew. It has nothing to do with white collars, blue collars, or no collars. Over the years I've followed the Bills on the radio, black and white TV sets, lap tops, at Rich and The Ralph (if I had the money and in the TV department at Wally World if I didn't). There's no greater people on this planet than the original Bills Mafia, the people of Buffalo.
  3. When the season started I looked at Denver and Atlanta as the games that would define the season for the Bills. They didn't have to win them both but I felt we would know a lot more about what the team was made up of. With both games in the rear view mirror and both of them wins, getting a win against the 1-3 bungles becomes a watershed game. The Bills are beat up and need the two week rest to heal up. Every drought team would find a way to lose this one. If they get the W a floor of 10-6 is a realistic.
  4. Never thought I'd be saying this, but if they go 11-5 or better tie up Tyrod long term and use every pick on O line(2), LB (2), WR (1) and DT (1). Time to dance with who brung ya.
  5. God I hope this was sarcasm
  6. Christmas at the earliest
  7. Thanks Shaw. Great read, as always.
  8. Because he did not have control of the ball as his arm was going forward. He didn't grip the ball with his fingers, but instead the ball which was already on the way out of his hand got pushed. That was obvious on the replay. The same way a catch isn't a catch if the receiver doesn't control the ball all the way through the catch.
  9. That was the single most exciting game I've seen the Bills play in years
  10. You did say that, of course they could win out but wouldn't bet the ranch on it. I'll settle for saying they look good for the bungle game and leave it at that.
  11. But, but, but what about that untested, unknown mythical QB we were going to draft with ALL those extra picks we're going to have???
  12. That was the best we'll see all season, who's next???? Bring 'em on.
  13. The D smells blood in the water.
  14. Looks like playoff football
  15. At the beginning of the season very few thought we'd get through the first four games at 2-2 let alone have a chance at 3-1. Exciting stuff!!!
  16. No fan of the patsies*** in general, or belicheat or marsha in particular, but I think there are numerous QBs you could plug into that team and have similar results (Rodgers, Breese and Wilson to name a few). They actually did it the year brady was out with 11 wins. If there's any respect to be earned by NE, it's for the coaching staff and the system they've installed.
  17. Beginning to think marsha is the epitome of the system QB, and bellyboy is the only coach that could make him great. Rodgers is every bit as good as goat boy.
  18. I'll be the happiest poster here if this team rides a stifling defense and a clock eating run game all the way to the playoffs. If they can get 11 or 12 wins and never score more than 21 points doing it I'll be thrilled but the fact is there will be times that they'll need 30+, no matter how good the defense is. We may find out tomorrow if they have it in them to do so.
  19. What about Reilly???
  20. This makes more sense.
  21. Because this defense is beginning to look disciplined and capable of keeping them from being blown out. Because a suspect defensive backfield has been a pleasant surprise. Because the front 7 are keeping rushing numbers down. I'm not predicting a win in Atlanta, but I wouldn't be shocked.
  22. Must be getting feeble in my old age. If I understand this then, On a week when the NFL is honoring veterans, those that support veterans are going to boycott the supporting ceremonies because there was a previous disrespect of said veterans at a protest that wasn't really about veterans per se. Either I am incapable of understanding the collective mindset of 2017 USA or the whole country has gone freakin' nuts.
  23. Granted, other than Siemian. If the Bills make Ryan look like that you will have a valid point.
  24. I must have missed something. Why are we protesting against veterans
  25. This thread is 5 days premature. Atlanta is the first playoff caliber team we will face this year. We'll know more at 4:00 Sunday.
