Why does this happen after EVERY loss?
billsfan60 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This should be the mantra going forward. On Friday, I would have voted to move the team to the Philippines and rename them the Manila Folders. But Saturday brings a fresh perspective, guess it's all part of the process. -
OK, lets try this another way. I didn't say he was THE problem. Hell we have problems on top of problems. He is however a CRITICAL problem as he impacts every offensive play since he touches every snap. Nobody is saying shoot the kid and bury the body but elite play from the QB position is mandatory. As far as the numbers go, I say they prove the point. When the running game is in the dumpster, who ya gonna turn to, and if, as an OC you don't dial up more passes it's not because you're stupid. It's because you see and coach these guys every day and know the skill level isn't there.
-
That was my point. With better QB play those EXACT same circumstances wouldn't have existed.
-
This is exactly what we all want and calling guys like majbobby haters is missing the point. I want a shut down corners, 60 yd field goals, a pro bowl OL, 3 Shady clones at RB, and 20 sack edge rushers. Taylor isn't the only thing holding this team back but he is one of the things and he is the ONLY one that touches the ball on every offensive play and thus gets to impact the outcome of every play he's on the field. His play is critical and I don't want to settle for a QB who's just OK. Saying he's improving is whistling past the graveyard.

Yeah, that was my point. No respect for the passing game at all. A couple of quick hitters completed and maybe they aren't so quick to pin their ears back every down.
-
Don't see any haters here, except folks that hate to see this team lose. There was plenty to be embarrassed about no matter what phase of the game you want to talk about. We didn't even punt that well. Taylor was slow getting the ball out, the OL was a sieve, the defense was soft, Dennison didn't make the necessary adjustments, the WRs got fumblitis and the list goes on. There's not enough lipstick at Macys to pretty up this pig.
-
This WR group not looking so bad anymore, and not just the addition of KB. Dennison's got a week and a half to find a way to utilize them in such a way that the OL doesn't have to hold up for 3-4 seconds just to get a pass completed. Afraid this one's on him and tt

Breaking News: The Bills Realize the Truth
billsfan60 replied to trainspotting's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a rational statement amongst a barrage of hot take, the sky is falling over reaction. We all knew one of these was coming but most were in denial. -
Superstition wise: Let's not screw this up.

Why did teams let Micah Hyde and our current players go?
billsfan60 replied to Billsfed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This only makes sense if McDermott doesn't adjust and this coaching staff has already shown they can and will. -

We were going to sacrifice a virgin to the gods of football this morning, but couldn't find one. -
Wait!!! We're doing lookalikes now?

Bellichick reportedly getting ready to retire
billsfan60 replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way, I want him there for at least two more fruitless years while the Bills take the division each year and let him and marsha go out with the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths. -
Expectations on next five games?
billsfan60 replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Won't go any further than a win in new jersey. The Bills will win it, but how? If it's a dog fight, we're not as far down the road as we think we are, and I'll wait on NOLA before I get my hopes any higher. If they bury the Jerseyites I think they'll have finally turned the corner, finish 12-4 and take the division. -
ESPN: Tom Brady’s Most Dangerous Game
billsfan60 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's so wrong to wish for somebody to get splattered and have to be scraped off the field with a stick and a coal shovel, but if it were to happen to marsha and as long as I had no part in wishing for it, I could watch the replay of the event over and over and over with a clear conscience. -
Kaepernick's Lawyer Tweets He Will Be Signed...

This should be fun. After this afternoon's trade debacle he almost has to end up a Brown. He even gets to start. Everybody wins. -
"Patriot Way": Officiating Catalog
billsfan60 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the whole "elder statesman" theory makes the most sense. But that still doesn't explain why the centralized replay isn't reversing the more egregious gaffs that we see each week. -
"Patriot Way": Officiating Catalog
billsfan60 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is usually the problem with conspiracy theories. What your suggesting is that the patsies*** organization, the NFL, as an organization, and every official have colluded in an ultra secret pact to sway the outcome of every game the patsies*** play in by making favorable calls at the most crucial points in each game. You're talking about hundreds of people keeping their mouths shut and having 100% of them buying into the program. When you throw in centralized review and instant replay from multiple angles then the entire watching public and sports media must be both blind and stupid. Of course it could be argued that people do pay good money to watch professional wrestling. The counterpoint is that officials, as a group are both blind and stupid, and that includes official review. When I was playing, back at the dawn of time, the band would do a rendition of The Three Blind Mice after each obvious blown call. -

Forgot that one, you're absolutely right, but at least we still have savioredwards for comic relief. -
Patriots trade Jimmy Garoppolo to SF
billsfan60 replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty much the same risk Tyrod took taking less to come here when Denver wanted him. I realize one was in FA and this is a trade, but I seems in both cases the players had input in the deals. -

Think there's a real good chance SF just got fleeced. Bellycheat and the patsies*** are one solid hit away from playing golf in January. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - A Day to Remember
billsfan60 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaw was a cornerstone at BBMB and one of the few things that made the place better. You waited every week for the Rockpile Review. -
Tyrod and Shady are the only two long term injuries that should be a concern for this year. They are the ground game and I don't know how you fix that if either one goes down.
