  1. You stick with them so when they actually do start kicking butts and taking names you can say you were there when the dynastic turnaround began ... AND NOT BE LYING.
  2. There isn't one thing here that anybody can disagree with.
  3. This is from a SBNation Q&A by Jeff Hunter. "comfortable win". the arrogance is astounding. What do the Broncos need to do to beat the Bills? Conversely, what do the Bills need to do to come out with the win? #1 Stop Lesean McCoy and the rushing attack of the Bills. #2 Contain Tyrod Taylor - I'm betting you will see a lot of pass rushes where Denver will form a pocket around him instead of directly going for the throat. They know how to play QBs who can beat you with their legs and know they can rely on the No Fly Zone to keep his guys covered downfield. #3 Don't turn the ball over. This offense while looking spectacular in Week 2 just needs to play smart and not give the ball away. If they can play possession football, it should be a somewhat comfortable win for the Broncos. They're so glorious, maybe the Bills should just concede.
  4. Add Baker Mayfield to your list.
  5. Even though I fear it's a loss with taylor right around 100 yds; I can't now, nor have I ever been able to, bet against The Bills. So with that I'm in for the win and Tyrod over 200 Yds!
  6. OK, got it. My apologies for butting in on your conversation with an irrelevant point.
  7. Pretty sure I asked you point blank if that's what you meant and all I got back was allusion to my comprehension level. It was the ambiguity in what you wrote that begged the question. To win the damn game.
  8. Are you absolutely positive this was all about people hating taylor and wishing him ill or just the same old tank the season guys who feel the most likely route to a high draft pick is for taylor to fail. I don't think anyone here wants taylor, the person, to flame out. He's doing the best he can it's just not good enough.
  9. OK My bad. I'm thinking Denver has arguably a better defense than Carolina and 150 through the air won't get them to back off enough to take the pressure off the run game. They'll just keep stacking the box. So if the ground game under produces we're staring at another loss. Then there's Atlanta, a team that can put up a lot of points and just held the Pack to 24. That kind of production from tyrod ain't going to get it here either. Another loss. That's the context (or I'm completely wrong).
  10. I hope you're not suggesting that's good enough.
  11. Holy Crap!!! Comparing apples and apples. Oh wait, if taylor hadn't got his bell rung he'd have put up 500 yds against the Ravens. My bad.
  12. How is it Dennison's fault that taylor's skill set is so limited? He has to game plan for what he has to work with.
  13. Don't understand why everybody can't see this. Some just go on finding every possible excuse to deflect the responsibility elsewhere, with the excuse du jour being some Machiavellian plot to set him up to fail. Or the lunatic fringe notion that benching taylor will result in a locker room revolt. The real revolt comes when the defense stops doing the heavy lifting because the offense can't score points.
  14. Don't think he's cheering taylor's demise. Taylors doing himself in. What's worse, benching a guy who isn't, or can't, produce or leaving him out there to embarrass himself?
  15. McCoy was not a factor because Carolina knew we couldn't throw consistently and stacked the box. Taylor was doing what he CAN do not what was asked of him. The lack of a passing threat at QB got you what happened yesterday. I find it hard to believe it wasn't obvious by the end of the first quarter what Carolina was going to do on D and yet the Bills kept trying to run. The key missing piece is competent QB talent.
  16. Don't want to see any more great defensive performances ruined by an ineffective QB. It's time to move on but taylor will get at least one more opportunity to prove he belongs. If he craps the bed against Denver do we get Nate before the bye?
  17. The product on the field was better, just not good enough (and that will come). No reason to come unglued over what I consider to be a defensive gem yesterday hell I didn't even kick the cat after the last offensive screw up.
  18. Then there's no need to draft a QB. End of conversation.
  19. No more dual threat QBs for me. I want a guy who stands a chance of being the face of the franchise for fifteen years. Not interested in any guy whose premier skill is running. I've read all about Jackson "honing his game" and that scares the hell out of me. Every time Taylor crosses the LOS it's open season on his shoulder and legs. If you don't think Carolina's LBs are thinking that way you're delusional. Every QB scrambles, but I want it to be as a last resort, not part of the game plan.
  20. That was my point. It's way too soon to know anything, either positive or negative (as it applies to the whole season's performance.) Until the half way mark all you have is indicators. They're probably not going to be 1-7 or 7-1 (although I'll take 7-1). My comment was directed at both ends of the lunatic fringe spectrum. Even though most posters are way above average in real football smarts and provide great insight on the Bills with what they write (and why I usually keep my mouth shut) it seems that far too often some here put their thoughts in motion without engaging their brain first.
  21. The crepe hangers will still be out in force dredging up Trent and Fitz nightmares. Too many posters use doom and gloom as proof positive of their football acumen. and there it is
  22. Why so scared of positivity? Must be easier to proclaim doom and gloom than hope for success. What if they bust through, the defense holds up, Tyrod takes the next step, Shady stays healthy, Jones goes over 1k receiving and Jerry plays smart? How you going to spin that to fit your agenda? Some folks here are so fragile they'd rather clutch their participation trophy tightly to their breast and hide in the corner of their safe place than take the chance of being wrong in their estimate of this teams potential.
  23. It's a good Monday for both teams Ice. You're always welcome here.
