If we can right the ship and beat the Pats then we will be back in the swing of things.
-
Yep, this is the major issue at the moment. We are leaving all sorts of points on the field.
-
I wouldn't say Allen was bad the whole game. It's just the red zone - he makes too many mistakes there in recent games. I don't know what is going on.
-
Allen is just struggling like crazy in the red zone at the moment. So many miscues in that area of the field. The fumble is not worth mentioning.

Yeah, now that FG would have made it a 7 point game. No worries about LOSING then - just OT. -

We just need a couple of first downs here. Vikes only have 1 TO. -

Well, missing the PAT was a bonus. We do need some help. -

We are going to need to get a couple of first downs to win this one. -

Yep, looks like that FG would have been helpful. -

I can't believe we did it again. Just kick the FG. The team makes tons of mistakes when we are in scoring position. Don't risk it. -
NFL Week #10 - Vikings at Bills - 1st half game thread

Very frustrating. Can we just not turn the ball over when we are in scoring position? That said, the Vikings have been making a living out of getting lucky. Dolphins looking good again and Tua is looking like he's put everything together. The Dolphins definitely spent a fortune on that team. -
Jets deserved to win this one. They outsmarted the Bills consistently with the vanilla playcalling. BIlls need to regroup next week against the Vikings.

NFL WEEK #4 - Bills at Ravens - 1st Half Thread
Murdox replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I had already written this game off as a potential blow-out loss for the Bills coming into the game. It just didn't look good on paper with all of the Bills injuries and the fact that the Ravens are home and the weather was iffy. It's ok - Dolphins lost and the division looks weak. We should be ok if we can get healthy. -
If we struggle against Baltimore, I'll start to worry. Our team didn't look like it could handle the heat in Miami today (in addition to the players that were out), but we still looked like the better team for most of the game. We will beat them in Buffalo.
-
As I've said elsewhere, we would have won if the game was in Buffalo today. The heat killed the Bills offense, from the linemen to the skill players. I'm not worried at this point. We were the better team today on the field.

We don't have the mentality to win close games

The heat was the difference, folks. Look at how our offense kept marching down the field and the players were cramping up constantly. If we had been in Buffalo the game would have been completely different. -

The team couldn't handle the heat. Amusingly, all the long drives - normally great to weaken the D - took a toll on the offense in the heat. So many players on their knees, out with heat exhaustion, etc. Miami won with their home field advantage. -

Yep, it's one of those situations where it's less risky to have the return guy run it back then put the ball in Mahomes hands with 13 seconds left.
-
Yep, we need to get home field advantage next year. That really helped the Chiefs tonight, and I'm sure contributed to how spent our D was at the end. We also need to get a better pass rush. The rotation didn't cut it really in tonight's game, and you need steady pressure on Mahomes to win.
-
Honestly what do you do moving forward?
Murdox replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
You sweep the division next year and ensure that you have home field advantage. I think that came in very handy at the end when our defense looked spent. Traveling does take a toll, not to mention the rest of the home field benefits. -
Buffalo vs New England Wildcard Game: 8:15 PM Saturday Night

It's interesting how the Bengals loss affected things. As the fourth seed we would play the Raiders at home, and then likely the Titans. I certainly like that better than what the 3rd seed gave us. Hah!
