  1. Agree. Kupp seems to have lost significant ability to separate from man coverage, which is exactly what we don't need more of. Deebo is a bit more interesting, but I'd like to think we could find someone better.
  2. Spags outfoxed both Brady and Allen with the blitzes, but even then Kincaid had a reasonable chance to catch that incredible heave by Josh. I was surprised how much of a chance he gave Kincaid to catch it with that blitz coming.
  3. Thank you. The posters calling Allen a choker must be cheering some other team. Considering the amount of plays he is called on to make with an offense that lacks star power it's amazing we made it as far as we did this year. Pundits were suggesting we would go 7-10 or 8-9 this year and miss the playoffs entirely. We need to use some of the cap space that is freed up next year to do something about our lack of defensive pressure on the QBs when dealing with the elite QBs like Jackson and Mahomes. We need to get speed on offense. and depth in the secondary.
  4. I have to admit, out of the 4 teams that played today, this was the result I thought would be the least interesting. 1. Bills - Commanders; 2. Bills - Eagles; 3. Chiefs - Commanders; 4. What we got. I'm not really sure. I probably will only watch it in spurts.
  5. The performance the last few weeks rivals the worst defenses I have ever seen the Bills put out there. Stop with the dropping back all the time. Take more risks for crying out loud. This is Maye back there, not Mahomes.
  6. The Bills defense looks absolutely terrible as usual. I don't understand it, and we certainly will not be able to win in the playoffs with this D. It needs to change.
  7. The offense needs to come alive this half or I think it's time to see Brady off. I'm very disappointed. A QB like Allen should not be having multiple games where he throws for under 50% in a game. That's ridiculous in today's NFL.
  8. Speed. Their receivers play much faster than our group from what I can tell. When our offense is spinning its wheels I always feel like I'm watching a team in slow motion. But, I do agree our coaching staff is below the qulity of the Chiefs' coaching staff.
  9. Rodgers is currently running the Jets. Hah.
  10. Looks like the "Shmills" are still in the running!
  11. I'm reading now that Hackett may be relieved of his playcalling duties. Apparently, at least two offensive players complained about the offensive coaching, leadsership, and playcalling. Hackett is once again on his way out of a coaching situation, it appears.
  12. Eat most of his salary for this year. I have read that we have about $3M in cap space at the moment, so we could technically use a bit of that if those numbers are true.
  13. I am very concerned about next week after seeing the last couple of weeks. Saleh and the Jets have traditionally played the Bills and Allen fairly tough, so I expect the same next week.
  14. Well, let's hope the team just stinks away this year or something. This team is so frustratingly inconsistent that I have to put something on the coaching. That was frankly the worst game I've ever seen from Josh Allen, although the OL didn't help him much. I think teams feel like our receivers can't separate downfield so that can go for pressure on Allen.
  15. There is a silver lining. The AFC East suddenly is the worst division in the AFC so we could actually still win the division if we get a bit more healthy and maybe trade for a piece like Adams.
  16. I will say I am a bit shocked at how bad our defense is. We clearly have no depth at all. I mean you might as well not even play defense.
  17. I think Adams is a step up from Diggs. I'm still waiting to see Diggs surface for the Texans today, but Collins is heads and shoulders better than Diggs at this point.
  18. Well, I think it's clear they need to get a weapon on offense because teams just don't fear our receiving group at all, but the defense is a mess. Hopefully health can bring that defense back to something above average.
  19. I think it depends on the big picture. If you have a great QB and a good gameplan, you can win SBs without "stud" receivers like the Patriots. However - and this is a big however - you still need one or two guys who can separate in man coverage. That's what concerns me after the last game. The Ravens pass rush was an issue, but I did not see a lot of open receivers out there. They were getting blanketed a large part of the time. An upgrade at receiver could provide a bit more of a boost than in other years.
  20. Given the offensive line was struggling in pass protection, it was not a good call. This was one of the worst games I've seen under McDermott, and he's laid a bunch of eggs. They were completely outclassed by the guys on the other side of the field. The Ravens watched film on the Bills and they had Brady's number. I'm not sure whether we should be worried, or whether we just matched up poorly with the Ravens tonight. But, I do know the Ravens will be in the playoffs so we need to be able to keep up with them, which we didn't do at all tonight. Let's hope some of our starters on defense get healthy. We need them badly.
  21. The team is being outcoached and outplayed tonight. Guess it was destined to happen, but we are now back to being pretenders. Somehow the Chiefs find ways to win a lot of games - like today - where they looked bad. We need to be able to do that.
  22. Well, that's what we are able to afford under the cap. We couldn't even afford Beckham. This year may be an off year for the team, or not, but we will certainly be challenged more than we have since Allen's rookie season.
  23. Well, I know one thing. It won't be fun playing the Bills in the next Madden installment. Our WRs are the worst on paper in the entire NFL (not that I necessarily agree). The kids will have to have Allen chuck a lot of balls to Kincaid. LOL
  24. Bear in mind that Deebo has been operating as a running back at times in the 49ers offense. If we intended to use him solely as a wideout, his receiving numbers would go up and he would be less injury prone.
  25. Everyone, I just read the news that the 49ers were on the phone all evening trying to trade one of their veteran receivers. Rumor has it that Deebo is even more available than Aiyuk, but I would not be surprised to see the Bills land one of them over night, while keeping the first pick of the 2nd round.
