NFL Execs say Bills should get moving on new stadium
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the majority of that is coming from the fans who don't want to spend more money on a major ticket hike. With that hike their tailgating traditions might be forever altered if not eliminated all together. I can understand the hate, I'm not fortunate enough to go to games regularly as I'm not local but i think we can all see where people are coming from. Some of these guys have spent most of their adult lives having tickets and tailgates, why would they want to lose that for a glitz and glam stadium designed to appeal to corporations and big money? -
You talked about him a month or so ago and showed me the video, after today's workout numbers your coming out ROSES. Good stuff!

RG3 meeting with Browns (update: signed)
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is a numbers move. They got a reclamation project with a high upside who can also serve as a stop gap while developing Wentz/Goff. I fully expect them to draft a QB with their second pick and it's safe to say taking hope/pride out of the equation teams should be over spending assests on QB's until they find their guy. Basically ignore the confidence in your coaching staff to return RG3 to form and fill the QB pipeline with the best talent available. Numbers will be favorable towards finding a QB I'm just curious to see what extent they will take it to as they address other positions. -
Unrestricted Free Agents for 2016

I'm hearing they might be signing Nate Washington, not sure if it's definite yet. -
Preston Brown: "I Need to Take Charge in 2016"
CommonCents replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure co-workers, peers, and management don't need to hear excuses of pasts performance or lack there of. Preston works in front of millions of fans and is critiqued by many in the public eye, he has plenty of reason to communicate and accept responsibility where it lies. When people start wearing a jersey with my name on the back il start addressing my failures publicly. -
Preston Brown: "I Need to Take Charge in 2016"
CommonCents replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmm seems as a whole we always want players to be accountable for their performance. Preston does just that and now you want him to shut up and play. -
It's really a disgrace that those are the options we are left considering. Among a million other things we are supposed to vote for a guy acting like a 70 year old entitled frat boy or a conniving hag who is an embarrassment to all women after letting her husband round around on her in the public eye time and again. What a message to our youth and the future of our country. Agendas, beliefs and policies don't even deserve to be discussed when your looking two jack asses in the face. Which ever one gets elected I hope they choose to go with the Obama shtick and spend the majority of their time golfing or doing ESPN interviews. Reality TV turned American politics....can't wait to see the side show of trying to appoint a SCJ during this clown show.

I have always wonder that myself, with him being a Clinton supporter in the past. Is he just going to continue to say and do more outrageous **** until he is unelectable to even the staunchest trumpets? Sure seems to be headed that way, Clinton looks like she has a free pass to the White House. I'm not convinced he wants to be president.

Is my roommate pinching alcohol?
CommonCents replied to CommonCents's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yah if want a drink have a drink but sure as hell don't put water back in the bottle! I'm going to try and freeze it I guess that's the only way to take a guess. -
Stupid question but after paying some attention to the Vodka bottle I store on the top of the fridge I noticed a bunch of water droplets around the top of the bottle. That strikes me as odd? Maybe I have just never noticed before? Thanks for any possible answers.

Alfred Morris signs 2 year deal with Cowboys
CommonCents replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Joseph Randall is out break laws somewhere he is currently unemployed. They have Lance Dunbar though and he looked good before getting hurt. -
Yikes. Try eating a pancake for breakfast tomorrow instead of the Crazy Berries.

In multiple posts you have been talking about the perma war and their interest in keeping it going. Sounds like you have a line of thinking behind that, what is it?
-
Well that begs the question is the current group of world leaders fit to handle the task at hand? It seems instead of being direct and confrontational towards a deadly opposition they are more occupied with subduing the reactions of their own people. "We stand in solidarity" We done standing yet??? How about we come to terms with admitting the problem and addressing it. The refugee situation is asinine and that leadership stands at one podium trying to convince us the vetting process is safe while at the same time branches of national security directly contradict that. What's that reek of? Politics. People die and get maimed while our leaders attend to their political base. #puke
-
Well your second sentence would be a good place to start! Stop arming and funding rebels and participating in proxy wars. Make the safety of our countries the first priority and let that superseded everything else. Develop long and short term resolutions to the immigration problems. Modern day society prohibits us from acknowledging the obvious. We would much rather be politically correct and righteous than judgmental.

I wonder how much more death and carnage will have to take place here and in Europe before we can see past party lines and resolve this once and for all. What's it going to take? We going to sit and nitpick over past presidents and their mistakes until what!? Til they denote a dirty bomb or god forbid a nuke in a highly populated area? What's the level here? Or we could keep up this strategy of making sure we do absolutely nothing that could be misconstrued as being divisive or dare we say RAYCYST or profiling yada yada.

Crystal Ball: Top Prospects for 2016 NFL Draft
CommonCents replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be hard to justify spending your last three first round picks on WR's when your offense is built around the run. -
Sure, but what you have above ignores the situation where the money that would be spent on Percy can do elsewhere to upgrade at WR. You may not find a guy as explosive as Harvin but you can find a more reliable option whom is an upgrade over the other guys you have listed. You sacrifice a little glitz and glam for some consistency on a week to week basis. That is where this offense needs to improve the most.
-
It's a bad idea. Goodwin and Harvin will wreck any teams depth, they are hurt more than they are available. Sure you can make an argument that he will be on a cheap deal but it's the roster spot and ignoring other more viable options that is the problem. Iv said it over and over again bring in Boldin if your going to sign a veteran. I bet Whaley doesn't wear a seatbelt and texts while he drives after drinking ...he loves the excitement and ignores the obvious. You made this mistake last year, less track stars more football players please.

Best player, biggest bust and sleeper in the draft
CommonCents replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bosa was the consensus number 1 overall pick and is now still slated to go in the top 10. He will bust based on his draft position. -
Is Adam LaRoche a little much ?
CommonCents replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in Major League Baseball's Topics
Imaginations are wonderful. I could walk into the sox clubhouse and ask Pablo for dietary advice, Hanley for motivational, Ortiz for supplements, and John Farrell for relationship advice. The Red Sox have all bases covered. -
Best player, biggest bust and sleeper in the draft
CommonCents replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best- Myles Jack. His skill set is a perfect match for today's NFL. Bust- Joey Bosa. Joey was a force in college football but he will be reduced to an everyday player in the NFL. College star turned NFL starter. Sleeper- the term can be coined a million different ways...I will give you the player whom I think will give a team the best value for its pick. Kenyan Drake will be the best Alabama running back drafted in 2016, much like Jack his skill set is perfect for the modern day NFL.
