  1. Yeah good signing to add some depth to that middle and continue to let Brown develop. Grigson is so terrible. This year i'm hoping Boyd gets drafted before the Patriots pick, he would be a perfect fit for them.
  2. I would be more excited about this is Grigson didn't pass Malcom Brown to the Pats last year. He will be a problem in that middle.
  3. Your mind wouldn't be the only thing we would be losing.
  4. I wonder if anyone from Buffalo was in attendance, I checked to see if I could find any information on it but the best I found was him thanking folks for coming out.
  5. I haven't seen enough of Jackson but your word is more than good in my book. That just adds to my suspicions that Gilmore's value is really going to be hindered by his future deal. Jackson would provide teams another option in the late first round window. I'm sold on Alexander I'm not sure how much you have seen of him but when healthy he changes the game. One of the worst trades ever was Tampa trading a 1st and a 4th for Revis, assuming the 16 million and then cutting him a year later. I just don't see it. Heck what else do teams value besides corners, pass rushers. Chandler Jones only yielded a late second round pick in a similar contract situation. I think that would be a more realistic expectation for a return. So Arizona would trade away their 2nd for Jones who is heading to FA, and then trade their 1st for Gilmore whose contract is also up? Eccckkk that would really be playing with fire and ignoring the benefits of the RWS.
  6. I'm not so sure the teams you listed would be willing to trade a 1st for Gilmore. That's a big assumption to make when considering the contract he is going to want. Why wouldn't Arizona draft an Alexander at the end of the first round? Who is a tad smaller but would be a perfect compliment to Peterson? That is a lot safer than trading away a pick, assuming a huge contract, and having two highly paid corners.
  7. Yep I lived in Tampa for two years, that stadium is more than adequate and they drew damn well when Gruden was down there. Not sure how tickets have been since the decline but they are a promising young team. It's sickening that someone is going to leverage a stadium which is in such close proximity to a fully functioning NFL location. Greed Greed Greed. Mark Cuban is a jack ass but boy his comments about the NFL look like they are spot on.
  8. No keep your games and slow down this NFL steam roller. Nothing like leveraging a non NFL city with the NFL product what a joke.
  9. The NFL has created a year round news cycle, that is no small feat. I'm not sure how much it's rules and regulations dictate that but they sure seem to go hand and hand.
  10. We already have a thumper who struggles in space, why would double down with your first round pick and draft another one? Ragland may be marginally better in coverage but that doesn't warrant a first round pick. We have glaring needs on both sides of the ball, no reason to make any lateral moves or settle for side grades.
  11. Glennon was a viable option until Tyrod showed up. Unless Tampa is shipping him off for a laaaaaate round pick -6th or 7th then it's not a great investment. When we were staring at EJ as our starter I would have given the middle round pick for Glennon. Tyrod's ceiling is still debatable but his floor keeps us from making panic moves like this one.
  12. What a DOPE! Thought he was finally going to put down the weed.
  13. Yep Manuel and his guaranteed contract provide a buffer year for whom ever is drafted. I don't care how good the drafted player looks let him sit the entire year and don't discourage his growth by putting him on the field. EJ can take the lumps if Tyrod goes down IMO.
  14. I saw an article saying he moved in with Von Miller in order to get his life straight. If so, good on Von for trying to steer him in the right direction.
  15. Just seems like someone bent on bashing a player from a mile away. As you mentioned his score hasn't even been made public. I'm with you on the high score being a plus but a lower score not wiping a kid of a draft board. For the record I will take Cardale and whatever score he has over Bosa and his 37! We pick at 19, we aren't going to get a finished product at QB. After Goff and Wentz it's safe to assume 5 or 6 guys will be drafted and groomed. Out of all these posts has anyone made a legitimate case as to why Cardale has less chance to succeed than the other projects? Sure you can draft Connor Cook who is closer to his ceiling than his floor and honestly i don't even think he could surpass Tyrod. Tyrod looks to be at the very least a serviceable NFL starter, if we draft a QB let's chase one with a high ceiling.
  16. It's a terrible argument to make anyways because in recent years QB's have found a way to practice for it an increase their scores. I'm not very familiar with the test but Cowherd did a segment on it. So how are we going to judge Jim Kelly's vs. Peyton's vs. Goffs? Mcnabb scored a 14...he did ok?
  17. Lynch and EJ two guys that look the part but can't play it for ****.
  18. In fairness I'm sure Clady's contract numbers destroyed his value ala Mario. Either way it's a positional downgrade for the Jets and a player who comes with high injury concerns.
  19. They will get plenty of rest after they sweep the Jazz or whoever in the first round. Go for it.
  20. If we are taking a QB this is the guy I want.
  21. Just heard an interesting perspective on the Cowherd show, he is saying how teams are changing their thoughts on drafting oline so early. With the new CBA agreement teams and players have no contact for 16 weeks (4 months) a year. NFL executives are saying instead of being able to get them up to speed in their first season it's taking 2-3 years.
  22. I think the Pegula's learned a hard lesson this past season, if they replace Rex after his 2nd year I would like to think they will hire a coach that runs the same base defense or something similar. I also think Rex deserves at least three years, if your going to hire a guy and let him cook his way....you better wait until he has the right ingredients before you pass judgement.
  23. This is a non story it's not even a realistic possibility, we have an absolute zero backing up TT. I messaged Jennifer Lawrence on Twitter for a booty call she laughed at me. Elway messaged Whaley for his QB, he got laughed at. Lesson of the story is don't do dumb **** unless you want to get laughed at.
  24. I don't see an extension happening or a trade. I do however think the Bills will take a QB in this draft. TT's agent is doing him a disservice by driving a wedge between him and the team. Not only is that going to put more pressure on TT to perform it's also going to hurt the goodwill he has earned with the fans. If he gets off to a slow star, fans will be quicker to look at the rookie whether it's TC or regular season. The more he talks the more pressure falls on TT and the shorter the love affair gets.
  25. Adisabakari? He should stick to doing that stand up comedy on Netflix.
