  1. That's the frustrating part for me personally, heck even members on this board were agreeing how it made more sense to just get it taken care of right after the draft instead of risking further the injury during the season. Now it's 3 weeks later and the team does exactly that but puts a little spin on it. First we are told he can play, oops he can't play! Stop taking nice toys away from us!
  2. I think people are pissed because immediately after the selection we heard Schefter saying how Lawson needed the surgery and would be out 4-6 months. Shaq quickly dispelled that as did Whaley who passed the buck to the medical staff. "It's nothing we are real worried about or we wouldn't have taken him. We got complete faith in our medical staff and they signed off on him so we are excited to have him." Somewhere there is a disconnect, either they should have been worried because the injury was more serious than the medical staff determined, or they ignored our staff and the reports around the league and took the player who they knew had an injury which needed to be addressed. If it's the latter why not just come out and say that he is worth the wait and your excited to have him? If it's the former and he was cleared to play NFL football only too end up injuring himself pushing a bag in a non contact camp it's a bad look for the docs. It was a pre-existing injury you just determined it was ready for NFL contact or maybe it wasn't. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/04/28/what-they-said-3/ Wynn would be better than Biermann. I hope the bridge isn't burnt!
  3. A foot for a WR is always a concern. Dez came back, wasn't the same and had another procedure. Edelman came back and just went for his second procedure and is now in a walking boot. Julio Jones had a bunch of complications before he came back. Durant had 3 surgeries on his broken foot. One good thing here is the same surgeon that worked with Julio is now working with Sammy, hopefully that helps. Biggest thing is he needs to rest and let it heal fully, heck stay out until Sept. don't rush back.
  4. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/05/16/sources-bills-wr-sammy-watkins-breaks-foot/Follow up on Jones fracture that I alluded to earlier.
  5. If it's a Jones Fracture I hope the team plays it safe, that same injury cost Durant and Dez Bryant a bunch of time and both had to have multiple surgeries done. We will have to wait to hear if it's the same injury or a different bone in the foot. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/kevin-durant-s-out-for-the-rest-of-the-season--needs-3rd-surgery-in-6-months-on-on-right-foot-192721162.html
  6. Realist : a person who uses facts and past events rather than hopeful feelings and wishes to predict the future. Shaq's out we can continue our view points another time.
  7. Realists make for better conversation, discussing things with folks who are entrenched at either end of the spectrum is time wasted.
  8. The home opener. We need to start off 2-0 to put 2015 in the rear view and build some confidence in this team and each other. RR has always been at his best with a swaggerific group of players behind him. Two games in 5 days and a chance to set the tone. The drought is over because it's raining playoffs!!!
  9. https://gma.yahoo.com/wire-actor-wendell-pierce-arrested-atlanta-hotel-212402383--abc-news-celebrities.html Early reports seem to indicate Bunk is all aboard the Hillary train. Slapping up a man and his wife for openly supporting Bernie, take that take that take that.
  10. Phil Ivey has always been one of my favorite poker players this only enhances that!
  11. Lawson dropped with a shoulder problem, Ragland got red flagged shortly before the draft for a heart issue and also dropped out of the first round. Either we know more than everyone else or we are turning a blind eye too things that most teams aren't. All fine and dandy but if your going to tempt fate with pre-existing injuries and conditions why not swing for the fences with Jack? Kujo was another talented kid with red flags galore but yet we couldn't resist. If Lawson is going under the knife that is going to set back his rookie season. I know it seems like piling on but really it's just voicing the confusion that this front office is pushing forth. If in fact he is hurt and needs a procedure how about getting it done and stop yapping about how you drafted 3 guys who are going to start day 1. That places unrealistic expectations on an injured Lawson, a player in Washington who needs time, and Ragland who is dealing with a health issue that dropped him a good 20 spots in the draft. I know I'm not a doctor etc. etc., I know it's May so if we can't be optimistic now when can we...lets just hope the health issues are overblown and everyone else was wrong not us.
  12. I was like that when Lebron went back to the Cavs, but after the sub tweets and coaching drama I'm back to the understanding that he is a dope. I hope Steph sticks that MVP trophy down their throats, if it's OKC no way I can go against Durant/Westbrook.
  13. 3 QB's - one kicker, unless of course we are doing another year of amateur hour.
  14. Sure he did, be afraid of trashy people, jocks, and highly successful members of society but ignore the sexually confused folks they are harmless.
  15. His contract dictates that he will be here for no less than two more full seasons, cheers to him staying healthy and being productive.
  16. I was just teasing about your maps haha. Yeah the contract is not perfect which doesn't hurt as much because we aren't paying a QB yet. I like how Seattle drafted that kid from Notre Dame in the 3rd- Prosise. Now their running back position accounts for a tiny percentage of the cap and they have two kids that they can run into the ground. I think Whaley is headed in that direction, he obviously sees something in Williams or he wouldn't have used the 5th he would have picked a UDFA.
  17. Well using a bad example, possibly the worst one possible certainly does not prove his point. I won't even need to see a heat map to confirm that. Rawls was a UDFA who tore up the league until he got hurt. Plenty of other back ups also contributed when star backs when down last year. West, Williams, Langford, David Johnson, Freeman/Coleman- Freeman was a 4th rounder. Plenty of other examples, I'm not going to go nuts digging them all up. McCoy does add value to the Bills but let's not act like he is our savior. He is a good RB who is playing on the back 9 of his career, his still runs hard and creates space for Taylor and company when he is healthy. He is also the best back in pass protection which is often overlooked. Whaley drafted a 5th round back this year, I'm sure after Shady is sent out to pasture they are looking to lessen the money they are allocating to the position.
  18. Rawls was tearing up the league before he hurt his ankle, he averaged 5.6 YPC and was doing it all in place of Lynch. No idea what your talking about? He got injured in a pile up which happens to the best of them. He had something like 9 touchdowns and only played in 12 games, started 6 of those. The hit was similar to the one Bell took from Burfict the way he peeled him back.
  19. Shaquanna set the record at Sports Science for most recorded force on the test dummy, he hits harder than Aaron Donald.
  20. Shaq can't shoulder Mario's heartless workload, we need a Medical Czar ASAP. Can Polian do physicals?
  21. Rodgers Brady Wilson Ben Brees Cam Eli Flacco Rivers Romo Luck Stafford Ryan Cutlet Dalton Palmer Carr Bortles Smith Winston Mariotta Cousins Taylor Teddy B. Tannehill Fitz Bradford Brock Sanchez Kap Goff Browns
  22. Such a **** show. As i have said before a few of my buddies are unionized custodians for the Boston Public school system, they already have a few trans kids using the girls bathrooms. I have yet to hear of the female to male scenario. They are getting bombarded with the PC paperwork reassuring them to treat everyone equally and avoid talking about the controversial topics. All is common place for any work environment but it's ironic that their workplace is full of the left's agenda. They now have signs up " I support undocumented students" which came from the admin. Power is limitless when you can silence your critics and influence the pliable adolescents all under the same roof.
  23. Lawrence Phillips would have looked good in that 32.
  24. Sheep ain't gonna fall in line? We ain't gonna feed y'all no mo.
