  1. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/05/19/doug-whaley-bills-draft-picks-shaq-lawson Here's an article by Bedard about Whaley, he says something along the lines of he had never heard a GM talk the way he does about 1st round picks never mind 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders.
  2. According to the time table we have been fed for Sammy's surgery he had it done before the draft. If indeed it was to repair a Jones Fracture this will be a bad look if Watkins is unable to come back healthy for week 1. As defined above we already had a glaring need at WR before the injury. Sure those statements include a few "ifs" and we haven't received much clarity from the front office on the injury yet. For anyone that's done a little research the time tables for the estimated recovery and the timing of the surgery certainly trend toward a Jones. Your #2 wideout Robert is Woods, a good blocking receiver who magically gets smaller as he goes down the field. Does he fit well with TT and the deep ball? When he hits FA next year will he want to come back to Buffalo? How about not trading up for a thumper and take a WR to round out things on offense. It blows my mind that they knew Watkins was hurt again and settled for a 6th round flyer on another burner. Pro-ready wideouts were on the board in the 2nd round and we could have kept our 4th round pick. I hated the Ragland pick when it was made and wasn't going to rehash it but RR and Whaley running around trying to tell everyone they got two first rounders is a joke. Smartest guy in the room syndrome strikes again, they fooled the league!!! Or they ignored obvious holes in the 2nd round and instead of addressing them or getting a LB that compliments Shaq we decided to get bigger and slower on defense. Sure that's what we needed last year bigger and slower.
  3. Good stuff, thanks for clarifying all that. I wasn't trying to be a pain in the ass, I browsed around most of the stuff I found was general results and not directly towards athletes. It is alarming that high profile athletes have had problems, hopefully Sammy avoids that.
  4. Oddly enough he only has 3 lost fumbles in his six year career, from what I can find none of those came on returns. Arenas averages 2 fumbles a year returning kicks. He returned one punt in 2013 and fumbled it, hasn't returned one since. We need a better option at returner.
  5. What are you babbling? Go to the Watkins thread where I was the first one doing research and posting links about the severity of a Jones Fracture. I also believe I said this injury is far more concerning than Shaq's injury. It has about a 20-25 percent chance for reinjury and multiple surgeries. Davante Parker had one and that cost him a ton of time, Dez had two surgeries, Edelman just had his 2nd surgery, Durant had 3? Julio played on it for a year after surgery before breaking it again and then missing a 12 month period after an additional surgery and some blood enrichment procedure to help with the healing. Sill not sure what your babbling about, I would suggest researching a posters history before you come off like a condescending diva.
  6. Your rates on the Jones Fracture are off quite a bit, some places I found athlete requiring a second surgery 20 percent of the time. This one i am going to link has 75 percent of Jones Fractures healing to 100 percent. It's a terrible spot for an injury, this link goes into depth on why. http://www.footvitals.com/bones/jones-fracture.html
  7. Darby heading into the top 5 before his rookie contract is up.
  8. Nothing special but he would be an option at PR/KR and we don't have many of those around.
  9. Thong and high heels early in the morning....betcha don't need any coffee to get up for that.
  10. That raises an interesting question, is he still a choke artist or perhaps he had debts to pay?

  12. So it's safe to save every bathroom is now a free for all, we should take down the men and woman's signs to avoid confusion. We should also get rid of any law that pertain to pissing in public, if we are sharing restrooms let's share everything.
  13. "Just play Madden" - Bryce Petty
  14. Ehh i hope he can come back that Jags defense will be fun to watch. So many young talented players I'm curious to how they mesh.
  15. Two years is not enough of a leash for a HC that has had success in this league. If the team has a total melt down this year then I would understand it, short of that they should stick it out for a 3rd season and attempt to improve things. Pressing the reset button is easy, it doesn't mean it's always best. We are trying to overthrow the most successful team in the FA era, it wasn't going to happen overnight. From what we heard the Pegula's are involved with the team, they can put some safeguards in place for Whaley and Rex if need be. Use the "One Buffalo" mantra to learn the business and improve the team. At worst you clean house after year three with a better understanding of how and more importantly who you want to run the organization. At that point it should be hands off and turned over to the new GM.
  16. All this talk about Watkins injury, has there been any confirmation that it's a Jones Fracture? Or still spit balling?
  17. Was Arenas hurt last year? I checked his stats and can't find anything for 15'. His kickoff return numbers aren't terrible, he hasn't returned a punt since 12'. Fair numbers but the fumbles seem high. Just find a guy that can catch it consistently!
  18. Maybe he can return kicks? Not sure if we have anyone on the roster that has done it.
  19. A much more plausible scenario is that the woman is going to get sick of her neighbor having to do tasks that her man should be handling. Mead will soon be getting a side of yoga pants with those brownies. Stay the course!
  20. Lived in Onslow for 3 years and that is good ole boy territory combined with the military of course.
  21. Oh yeah he is studying up on the ps4. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000663072/article/bryce-petty-my-development-shows-in-madden-play
  22. Boldin would be my choice also. I wonder how much money he is expected too get. I read an article a few days ago saying he is going to be picky about where he signs. Safe to assume that he has some kind of interest from a few teams?
  23. Yeah that's the direction I was headed but I think 3rd missed it.
  24. Thompson is so underrated, I'm surprised at how well he can stay with Westbrook.
  25. I like that it has a good ring too it.
