Me too. Hopefully I'm not watching GOT until the early morning hour because I'm too busy tasting Lebron's tears. GS needs to come out fast, don't let the greatest front runner of all time get comfortable.

They needed 13.5 million dollars to spend to figure out to run the ball from the one yard line with the best short yardage back in the NFL? Or was that 13.5 million dollars going to make the Seahawks secondary immune to injuries, didn't they all have surgery after that game? Lane broke his arm and missed 90 percent of the game? Point being the Seahawks had plenty of talent, enough to beat a talented Pats team. That Sherman contract was not detrimental to the talent on that roster. If you can't structure a contract to pay a tier 1 cornerback without destroying your cap/roster then you either have the wrong corner or GM. If you have the right guy you can pay him and get the play on the field to justify the contract. In my eyes Gilmore isn't the guy I'm giving top money too though. He is solid but he is not the game changer that I just can't let walk out the door. He is average in zone, he has one more interception than Leodis does over the past four years, he has been oft injured and banged up even while playing, his tackling leaves a lot to be desired, he doesn't follow number 1's around the field. I'm not flaming Gilmore, i'm just not paying him premium money. He is a plus in press coverage and overall he is an above average CB but I don't see him as a guy I couldn't live without and in return allow him to dictate his price to stay. If they can work out a deal that lets them cut ties after 2-3 years then I'm fine with it. If he walks our cap situation improves and we can focus on the future.

I'm in the anyone but IK group, he is as stiff as a board. Here's to hoping that someone gets cut that can be brought in as an upgrade, even if marginal. I like Manny but he isn't going to be able to play every snap and an injury would make IK a starter? Yikes. I don't remember a single snap where IK pushed the pocket or made an athletic play. I am sure he has at some point, but yuck.

Her mother bred GS's for years so she wants something different. One of her uncles had a Doberman so I'm guessing that's where this all comes from. I like the look and after reading up on them I'm more comfortable than I was. I just always thought of them as another "macho man" breed like Pitbulls and Rottweilers, admittedly that perception is probably from growing up in the city and generalizing dogs by who their owners were. I never had an appetite for a dog who is going to make guests/family nervous while visiting even if just from their appearance. My Boxer was a female runt and besides the occasional accidental paw to the face she would have been the ideal "Walmart greeter". Much like a Boxer the Doberman's look changes pretty drastically based on the ears/tail being done or not. My boxer had her tail docked but the ears were left floppy. With the Doberman I'd be fine if the ears are cropped it's a sleek looking dog. I gave her the green light to look for some reputable breeders so we will see how that turns out and then take the next step. Lots of first hand owners, thanks for the link.

Denver had Talib and CHJ and they drafted Roby in the first round I think? That worked out well, I like your style. They did something similar with pass rushers - they had Ware and Miller when they took Ray.

Does anyone have experience with Doberman's? I have absolutely zero. My Boxer passed a few years ago and the Lady and I are looking for a new dog. I want another Boxer but she wants a Doberman. I have read up on them and done my research but I'm still hesitant as I have no first hand experience with the breed. We are plenty active for both breeds, the reason I'm considering a Doberman is because she often jogs/walks alone when I'm not around. She has a cat, we have my 5 year old nephew on weekends, other than that just the usual company and bigger crowds on holidays. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Yeah I tried to record the game last week and watch thrones, then I ended up fast forwarding most of it because the game was still live. It ended up being a Cavs blowout so I'm glad I missed it. Game 7 is a must though. A few friends of mine who are rabid sports fans are choosing episode 9 over the game, which says a lot for the show and peoples infatuation with it. I hope it's a close game either way and without controversy. Let the players win it or lose it.

The red uniforms don't bother me, I'm stoked to start the season with 2 games in 4 days. I may take that week off work.

If Gilmore goes they can use that money to lure Prince from Jacksonville he would be adequate and cheaper. They had a chance at some good corners in the first and second rounds this year, hopefully the draft shakes out similarly in 17'. If I'm the Bills I stay firm with my offer (assuming it's fair). Gilmore and his agent can talk all they want, they want to get a deal done. He can do little to improve his stock this year and another injury may actually drop his value on the open market. Gilmore would be taking on some risk to play 16' without a future contract and he and his agent know that.

A sober review of last nights game. Lebron played great. Steve Kerr had one of his worst games as a coach. Refs sucked. Love still sucks. Harrison Barnes is costing himself millions because he suddenly sucks. If GS is going to win at home Kerr needs to tighten up the rotation. Mo buckets should be getting more minutes than Festus and Side Show Bob. When Thompson catches fire like he did at the end of the 3rd, why is he on the bench to start the 4th? Only thing Kerr did right last night was back up Curry and explain how the officials shouldn't be allowing the Cavs to be so physical off the ball and then turn around and call touch fouls on the Warriors. Cooler heads prevail and GS wins big on Sunday.

If Curry goes off does he win Finals MVP? It's debatable, so he hasn't been bad, but clearly the physical play affects his game.

Yards, if you look at the YPC most of it falls in line, outside of Cinci who was at 4.3 if I'm remembering correctly. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/position/defense Not a perfect stat as you said some teams faced less rushes due to teams playing catch up, the YPC is pretty solid for all 10 though. I found it interesting because most the talk about the NFL now a days is the passing game. Clearly a good run defense still means something.
