  1. If you want to use the NFL draft point value system then yes this is true. But in the real world of picks, I don't think that is accurate. The more picks you have to get quality players, the better. With this deal you get a RB, and still have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks still in tact. In your scenario, we have a RB, and just a 1st round pick. As I said before: the more picks you have, the better.
  2. You're pretty much talking about trading our first rounder for a early second. Once you get down in the 27-31st, that is pretty much the early second in my opinion as most of the high-profile impact players are gone by pick 20. But to answer your question, then yes I would like that deal.
  3. No kidding. Were turning into a nation that is "free" as long as we agree to accept everything immoral and not to voice our opinion. Disclaimier: I do not encourage the beatings of homosexuals or anything of the sort. Nor do I demoralize them. Sin is sin. You do not hate the sinner. You hate the sin. I would say the same thing if someone was a constant lier or any other sin.
  4. You're comparing apples to oranges. The students are not employed by anyone. If the school wants to "drive forward" and have a core mission of education than leave out any 'special' day that could cause uprising.
  5. Half of the highlight reel is of his 1 yard touchdown runs.
  6. I wont speculate on how he would perform differently in Houston than in New Orleans, but I do believe Houston made the wrong decision in not picking him.
  7. Do you have a strong disliking for Bush?
  8. So does Ladanian Tomlinson. He also must be a product of his offensive line then?
  9. Kenneth Davis and Darrick Holmes had nearly double the carries that Turner has had, and Holmes has half the avg/ yards per carry.
  10. Maybe im missing something. 502 yards, 6.3 avg, 2 TD's, 7 twenty+ yard runs, and 24 first downs ... as a backup. He had over 500 yards, and 24 first downs, as a backup - aka receiving minimal carries. As I said. Maybe im missing something.
  11. Maybe if she did less flaunting and more flat out singing, the people would pay more attention to her vocals than her body. As it is, this culture (as well as this post), tends to see her as a body first, and a singer second.
  12. There is a 'Parody Exception' to copyright infringment under freedealing. I would understand Family Guy as a parody.
  13. 2004: His receptions went up 24 receptions from the previous year. He had 200+ more yards, and 4 more touchdowns. 2005: He missed a game as I told you. He was averaging about 5.5 receptions per game as I told you. If he were not suspended, one could argue he would have caught his 5.5 receptions and his total for the season would be around 86.5 receptions, 860 yards, 4.something touchdowns. Therefore he only went down 1.5 receptions, 100 yards, and 1/2 touchdown from 2004. 2006. This is where he fell off. This is where he was the #2 receiver. This is where he was on the Texans and I explained the variables. So other than 2005-2006, his stats have NOT dropped significantly the past 3 seasons as you said. Yes his YPC has fallen 2 yards since 2004 to now. I understand that. He has also become a possesion receiver. His first down average for his entire career is only around 41. He has had 53, 38, and 33 his past three seasons. Not too far off from his career average. Once again, these stats show him as a productive #2-3 receiver. You simply can not compare him to Josh Reed and Parrish due to his declining YPC or first downs.
  14. Those numbers are disgustingly out of sort due to the poor year he had last year. Yet there is something called a "variable" and the Texans had a ton of them. Those include Carr as the QB, no RB, an offensive line worse than the one on the Bills ...etc. Also Eric's numbers going down in 2003 and 2005, had somewhat something to do with the fact that he missed 4 games over those 2 years. Eric averaged about 5.5 receptions per game in 2005. Because he missed a game, you could hypothetically say if you added those 5.5 receptions onto his year, he only had a 1.5 reception drop off from the year before! In 2003, he was averaging about 5 receptions per game. He missed 3 games. Thats 15 receptions. Add that onto his total, and he would have 79 receptions. Therefore in 2004, his production would have went up 9 receptions. 2004 IS within your three year spectrum, may I remind you.
  15. I said this a few posts back, but I will say it again. He is averaging about 75 receptions, 800 yards, and 3 touchdowns for the past three(3) seasons. The majority of posters on this thread have been indicating that they would like him back as a #2 or #3 receiver. For a #2-3 receiver to receive 75 receptions, over 800 yards and 3 touchdowns, I would say would be a pretty productive year.
  16. Not that I disagree with you completely, but can you explain that further. I'm not sure how passing on a player who had over 1300 rushing/receiving yards, 88 receptions, 8 rushing/receiving touchdowns, and a punt return touchdown was the right decision.
  17. 2004 Buffalo Bills ... 88 receptions, 1043 yards, 5 touchdowns 2005 Buffalo Bills ... 81 receptions, 816 yards, 4 touchdowns 2006 Houston Texans ... 57 receptions, 557 yards, 1 touchdowns Average of past 3 years/per year ... 75 receptions, 805 yards, 3 touchdowns
  18. Its amazing how fast people turn on loyal players. And please spare me the "Moulds said 'this or that' about us or Losman." That whole era he was put through was pathetic and he was justified in saying nearly everything that he said.
