The sports network (Altitude) in Denver that carries Nuggets/Avs/local colleges has been involved in a p!ssing contest for a while with the main cable/satellite carriers over rights fees. The result has been that Altitude is not carried on any of the systems. As a result, virtually everyone in Colorado has been blacked out from watching their teams for over a year. And that includes blackouts on any NBA/NHL packages that they buy on satellite or computer.

Remember Gary Anderson? He got drafted by the Bills in 1982, but (later on admitted) he did not want to play for the Bills, so he deliberately missed all his kicks in the preseason and got cut. OTOH, we did get karma when he missed that field goal in the NFC Championship Game.
