My take fwiw 1 Part of Prichard's job is preparing Doug Whaley for a press conference . Doug is they ask this you can say ...... or if they ask this then pivot to ......... on the other hand 2. they went 7-8 with Taylor. why is there even a debate that he should go. Is there a downside to going 4-12 instead of 7-9 ? I don't see one. On the other hand could Jones be better then Taylor ? It is an interesting question. I have read a lot this offseason about all the holes the Bills have on defense. All Season we read about how awful Rex was. Is it the former or the latter ? Probably a little of both but that is the nfl. It is a game of whack a more. You try to put as many quality players as possible on the field knowing it is impossible to have above the margin players at every position. This is why the qb is so important. With a very good qb you can cover up a lot of short comings. WIth an average or as the Bills have now a below average qb you need very strong play out of every other player on the field.

it is about the qb. you can build up every other part of the team but if Taylor is the qb you are not going anywhere

maybe you have an argument when he was with the Eagles. What he is doing with the Chiefs is overachieving following your logic you would rather play Taylor over Smith for the next two years. Smith carries a high cap number but not a crippling cap number . Better to have Smith and make the playoff IMO

I agree. The key point is they don't compare The Bills vs other teams. They seen to judge the bills and their personal against a mythical perfect organization. They also seem to forget Terry has the team for only 2 years

If you could get him for that it is a bargain. There is zero guaranteed money. The issue is Dallas can't trade him because it screws up their cap Chiefs, hmmm that would ake Alex Smith available . why would they part ways a second earlier then they have to ? I understand Rex was far from perfect. Getting personal on the field was a huge issue . However firing a coach with a 15-16 record after two years is rare. I can understand his point of view. I am not saying Rex should have stayed. I am just saying his dismissal isn't the norm

Let's get this straight It appears most want to roll with Taylor and not bring in Romo . For the life of me I can't understand the logic . The bills haven't had a qb in 15 years. Now they can get one but they rather keep the player who can't play the position. Sure Romo gets hurt but the entire qb game is roulette until you find one. At least with Romo there is a lot of talent
