I wanted to quickly point out that this is the first gm that Terry and Kim Hired . The current front office is still waiting for the first offseason. Yes he made a mistake with Rex but that situation got thrown at him rather quickly. Hiring coaches isn't always an exact science , look at the Giants. The picked a guy developed him and pushed out a 2 time super bowl winning for coach and now have a disaster . I wonder what a Whaley and Marrone team would have accomplished. I do know that Whaley had brought the talent level up the point the team won 9 games without a qb. Lets see what the next few years bring. Mcd is another issue. but the Gm is still in the first inning.

my take. Get Glenn healthy. then you have two solid tackles. With 5 picks in the top 90 and the ability to sign a few solid free agents. Not the break the bank day one free agents but solid nfl starters the defense can be repaired quickly. The problem is and has been forever you still need a qb. Back to the defense . Lets say they invest in a d tackle and a linebacker in free agency , then back that up with another linebacker and d tackle an corner early in the draft. Seems to me the defense should improve to from awful to solid very quickly. Selecting the right guard in round 3 should work to fill that hole. At the end of the day the league is always sort of like wack a mole and you never fill every issue. the issue with the sabs is weather you do it again. Keep Jack dump everyone else. The team is a complete mess. of course John Taveres would help

great point on Mcd and the overuse of coach speak. The fans deserve better.

It is the last 4 or 5 drafts that matter. very few players get a second contract with the team that drafted them

I wanted to bench taylor and still do. I see no reason to play him. We all know what he can and can't do. If they want to play him the next two weeks and bring back Peterman for the last 4 games I can live with that. That said playing Taylor accomplishes nothing. They lose the Charger game with or without Talyor

Let me say this first. My sister adopted two African American children and we still have issues in this country. That said there is noway race played apart in the Taylor benching. The guy had many chances and simply didn't get the job done. Schoop playng the race card in this instance hurts the entire situation . Shame on him

the matthews call has horrible, luckily it didn;t end there and the refs blew so many calls in this game that Matthews call didn't matter
