Now they like Josh Allen in Trade Up?

he is not Ryan Leaf, who had severe personality issues. The accuracy issue with Allen is the thing to worry about. -
Rumor: Shady on the Trade Block
baskingridgebillsfan replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love shady, but if somebody wants to give me a top 40 pick I have to make the move. That said he is worth far more to the Bills then any team will give up. I too hope he retires a Bill -
I heard some guys say after the combine he could move into round one. The Iowa kid might be a decent back up option . This is the one position where I can not find an easy solution for an upgrade

if they choose this path they will have over 40 million in cap space. That is enough to fill some holes with quality players. When you look over the free agent list and Bills needs middle linebacker jumps out as something that is going to have to come from the draft. Other positions can be addressed through free agency depending on how munc money they want to throw at it I still think moving up to pick 2 is an option. It works for both teams. The Giants can delay making a decision on Eli for another year and have ammo to build a competitive team around him. Plus they would have two first next year to help make a qb move. the offer would be 21,22 and next years first, since this doesn't get it done via the trade chart , the can throw in two players that seem to have fallen out of favor that would help the giants, Glenn and Lawson

now that things are stable players will visit. not every player , but that is the same for every team. Some players don't want the pressure of playing in nyc, some don't want to play in the humid south or live in the north east cold. The days of Buffalo being completely off the grid is over

Mel Kiper's new Big Board and Position Rankings

I think he means trading the 4th pick not number 1 overall -
it would be a pretty shrewd deal. Sign a player with no comp attached and let gains walk and get a comp pick

Bills to explore trade market for tyrod
baskingridgebillsfan replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
did they make the playoffs because of him or in spite of him ? I disagree , this off season is flush with decent qb's . 4-6 are going to get drafted in round 1 , smith already changed teams, cousins in out there, Bradford and Keenum are better then taylor. , Foles is floating out there , and if you want to dig even deeper Derek Anderson and Matt moore have played games that Taylor could only dream of. -

NE Pats* DC replacement???

My take is Bill b told Schiano to come to the pats and he will groom him to take over in 3-5 years. Kraft got wind of this and reached out to Mcdaniels. Then everything changed. Greg s went stayed at Ohio State and McDaniels did his famous back out. -

yes. there is no reason they shouldn't be able to spend on few solid players this offseason. -
Free agency - non QB's

played around with the cap last night . By cutting Taylor , Glenn and woods they end up with 45,000,000 in cap room. Set aside 15 for a vey qb . I say 15 because even if you have to pay annually a higher amount you can structure the contract to be a little lighter in year one. This should allow them to go out and get 2-4 solid players. The kind of money they spent on the safeties . This draft is loaded with D tackles and Linebackers so I might hold my money in that area. I agree I player like taylor gabreil makes a lot of sense I also like Jake Mohawt for the colts. Injured last season but played well before that and can slide over a play center Resigning e.j gaines would be great but I am not sure they will due to his injury record. They should spend on a solid Veteran . I also like the idea of Dion lewis. Hurts the pats, helps with the return game and give you a back up to shady that allows you to run the same offense no matter who is in the game. I would use a 4th or 5th round draft pick to get a pile driver back as a third back/ short yardage ect type. Finally adding one rotation type D tackle would be fine. I still think one or both starters are coming from the draft. D end is an issue that may have to be addressed from with in. Moving alexander back to a pass rusher and putting him in tandem with Lawson might get you by for they year Last thing to consider is they kept Conner McDermott on the roster the entire year. That kind of in investment means they thing he has starter potential . Don't be surprised if he isn't your right tackle next year. -
every team has holes. in the league you use all your assets and put the best team you can on the field every year.
