Zay Jones played injured all season...
baskingridgebillsfan replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lets hope for the best but he did not look good last year. If he was a 6th round pick he would have been cut -
At the end of the day this will be a two qb draft Rosen and Darnold. Mason Rudolph might be a solid qb but more of the Tannyhill type that you are always thinking about upgrading from . Jackson to me is a true wild card , so much talent can it translate into playing the position . Baker has always been over rated in my eyes. It is rare of a qb of his size to make it. I keep looking at Chase daniels stats and highlights and I don't see a ton of difference.

and hands of stone -
Is Baker Mayfield Chase Daniels. we will see , it is possible . Smaller system guy that put up huge numbers . The more I think about it I am not trading up unless Rosen starts to fall by some miracle . GIve me Bradford and I will draft Mason Rudolph. Maybe I can use some of 2019 draft ammo to move up in the second round and snag him

Andy Benoit's 2018 Free Agent Rankings
baskingridgebillsfan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sticking with the not break the bank type of free agents these interest me 1 Dion lewis , perfect compliment to Shady. They can add a bigger move the chains back in the draft or later in free agency helps in the return game too 2. Taylor Gabriel , more speed , also as read capabilities 3 Jack Mewhort. , can play all along the o line because day one starter at guard. 4 Ster lotulelei, Major need but will he be too pricey, plus lots of D tackles in this draft 5 Anthony Hitchens and Joe Bostic. 6 Rashaan Melvin , Can they get him for reasonable money, what will Gains market and up , he played well but he did miss a lot of time. They need on vet for sure I love Lamarcus Joyner but I am not sure it is a fit for the bills The Funny thing is everyone seems to worry about cap room, looking over this lest I think we would have a hard to spending a ton of money . Realistically if they can fill three of the following , guard, linebacker , d tackle and corner it will be a successful free agent period Sure I would love a pass rusher or a number 2 receiver but I can't see one that works for them . -

I am all for playing the comp pick game but this is not the year to start. They don't have a lot of players team will pay for and they have a lot of fillable holes that free agency can solve. Build the roster first and there will be plenty of years when you are forced to give up talent because you simply can't pay everyone .

Mason Rudolph/Lamar Jackson/Tyrod Taylor

They have to move on fro Taylor. He gets worse every year . The league know how to beat him and when they play a good defense they look like a high school offense -

Bills Salary cap discussions

If they trade up and take a qb in round one they can start free agency with around 45 million by cutting Glenn, taylor and wood. Personally I would not be in a rush to cut glenn , Granted they should spend 5-7 on somekind of vet qb weather it be Derek Anderson , Matt Moore , ect. That would leave around 40 million to buy some players Corner, linebacker , D tackle would be my personal choice.. Then hit the draft and lets see what happens. With wood gone I can not see them cutting Richie and If Kyle doesn't comeback I think Alexander stays, Although in a different role. Special teams and pass rusher playing in conjunction with Lawson
