Do The Reich Thing

A big question that looms large over this regime, is when will they get their statement win against a quality opponent? Under McDermott the Bills have had two quality wins against teams that went on to make the playoffs that year. Amazingly enough NONE of them have been at home. They were both in 2017: @KC and @ATL Are the Bills really just beating teams that they should and are they not that good? I hope not, but until they prove otherwise it appears to be the case. They seem to be content with mediocrity and doing just enough. This season feels like 2017 again with an even weaker schedule. McBeane has a lot to prove in my opinion and they need to get a quality win at HOME. Against the Ravens is the only chance left this year.

Pretty spot on post OP! Additional food for thought: 1) We drafted JA for conditions like this, right? Let the kid rip it and don't be afraid. If we're scared of playing in shaky conditions then build a damn dome. 2) The coaches seem content with conservative Jauron-ball. This team is FAR too passive at this point in the season and McD seems satisfied with playing not to lose. I really get the feeling they overthink things more than my ex-girlfriend and think more of what could go wrong rather than what could go right. 3) In hindsight this was just one game. The Ravens got blown out at home by the Browns and now everyone is saying they're the biggest threat to beat the Pats. Do I believe that the Bills will make adjustments moving forward and this will make them better? No idea and I am skeptical, but we will see.

Honestly man... with the way this team is coached every game is winnable. Every game is also losable.

This was an honest assessment. I don’t view it as doom and gloom by any means. It’s the truth. I’m tired of them being so passive on both sides of the ball. We need to beat the Redskins ass next week on both sides of the ball.

The problem is they are not opening it up. McDermott and his crew play this conservative crap every game. Open the game up on both ends and be more aggressive! Playing passive loses more than it wins in the long haul

I’m pumped we’re 5-1, but it’s clear this team is designed to play up and down to its competition. All of our games will put a few more grey hairs in our heads this year and cause a couple more heart palpitations. I expect the same thing against the Eagles next week.
