    This is old school thinking. It was the standard way to develop young qbs before salaries went crazy. It is a good strategy.

    No hate from me. Just not sure that Allen's college competition has prepared him to make the just to the NFL and be a first year starter. You are right, we are all just speculating with our very limited knowledge.

    That is a great point. I now live in Las Vegas. Teams like UNLV, New Mexico, Fresno, etc do not provide the best competition. Allen seems like he will need a year or two of seasoning before he could be the franchise qb se are looking for.
