  1. Do you have opinions on any of this draft class quarterbacks. I would appreciate hearing your opinion so we can get a perspective in a couple of years. I favor Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Jackson, and Roudolph in that order. If we must select from the second tier of quarterbacks, I would favor Falk and Lauletta.
  2. Most if not all of this quarterback draft class will need some developing. Does anybody on this board feel that there is a member of the Bills coaching staff is good at developing a raw qb? This has me more concerned than who we draft. To me, Daboll is unproven in this area.
  3. O'Dell is obviously talented, but he would not be happy on a rebuilding team. He would be a disruption in the locker room. But, if that trade was made, I still favor Josh Rosen. I like his accuracy and size. I think the other issues about him are over hyped.
  4. I am optimistic that the visionaries that you refer too are McBean. Look how they took a team to the playoffs with very little talent in key skilled positions.
  5. Hugh's makes the most sense. He is either declining or does not fit the current defensive system. He is in of the few high salaries that remain from the previous administration. I am a fan of Jerry, but last year could be his last with the Bills.
  6. This is an amazing dose of reality. Thank you. Very well done.
  7. I have to say I thought Lauletta looked like the best qb at the Senior bowl. But then, so did EJ Manuel.
  8. I know, I keep reading as well. I must go to the stadium wall 20 times a day minimum.
  9. It's not uncommon for a receiver take a year or two to adjust to the NFL. Zay is gong to look better in year 2. Let's hope he can get better with his personal issues.
  10. Just having a little fun myself. You have to admit these threads do get repetitive. Let's start a new thread " Why Mike white will be the #1 pick."
  11. Oh good, another quarterback thread! We should move up and draft : Allen, no Rosen, no Darnold, no Mayfield. We should not move up. Just take the best qb we can at 12. No a qb is too important, we should pay what ever we need to get one of the top 4. We should draft Lamar Jackson. No he is just like TT. We should build our team with our store of draft picks. The qb class is awesome! This qb class stinks! That about covers it. Why do we keep doing this???
  12. I look forward to it. Thanks for the tip.
  13. Ok, so we were second. Alright. Then we're the first NFL team to use the 12th man term. Does that work?
  14. Yes they did. The Wranglers had a loyal following. Hockey is doing well in Phoenix and Southern California as well. The support in Las Vegas is amazing. I hope that is not the case. The ownership and GM remind me of the Bills brain trust. They have made all the right moves over the last year. Let's hope they can sustain their success.
  15. Cool. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks.
  16. Seahawks also stole our 12th man and Claim it as their own.
  17. Though it is an unpleasant image to contemplate, I like your style.
  18. Sorry to get back on topic, but reading the deluge of the qbs available this year, I am not sold on any of them as a sure thing. I an in favor of staying at 12 and follow our draft board. Pick the best qb that falls to us either at 12 or 22 . This draft has too much talent at other positions to give up the farm to reach for an over hyped qb. This has the feel of the 2013 draft when the Bills brain trust had to get their qb. We all saw how well that worked out.
  19. As much as I love the Sabres, I have been a Las Vegas resident since 2001. It has been an amazing season for the Golden Knights. That goal by Karlsson was a thing of beauty. It is going to be fun to see how this upstart team (Las Vegas born) can do in the playoffs. Each player plays with a chip on his shoulder. On their opening night they had a moving ceremony honoring the victims and survivors of the 1 October shooting. Last night, their last home game of the regular season, they raised a banner with the names of the 58 players that list their lives in the shooting. They announced that the number 58 would never be worn by a Golden Knight. This town has embraced the team in an amazing fashion. I doubt that the raiders will get that kind of support from the Las Vegas fan base. Go Knights!!!
  20. I agree with you. We owe Ralph a great deal. He make sure that after his death, the bills would remain in Buffalo. It just bothered me that in the 70's I was so hopeful that the bills would regain the glory of the 60's championship teams only to find out that Ralph would not let that happen. He turned it around. I just changed the way I look at those days in the 70's . As was stated earlier, Ralph could be very generous to charities and to fellow owners. I will never dump on Mr. Wilson.
  21. Those were the days. Both good times and bad.
