Browns: HC Hue Jackson fired
longtimebillsfan replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you. finally a voice of reason. -
I know some would not be happy with Tyrod returning to the Bills, but I would not mind that. With his escapability and his ball protection, it would help. Now if we are intent on loosing as many games as possible to secure a top five draft pick, then this would be a bad idea. However, he would be the best qb on the roster by far.

How does a QB deficient team pass on Mahomes/Watson

Yep. Just be the biggest Allen supporter on the planet. Living in KC has got to be tough for you. I feel your pain my friend. -

That was an assumption for the premise I made. -

Imagine if Allen was drafted by KC and given a year to mature in that system with all of that talent around him. Then imagine if Mahomes was drafted by the Bills and in our offense. This board would be complaining that someone should loose their job over not drafting Allen. I know the time line does not work out, but I am just stating the system and talent level does affect the success of a quarterback. -

This brings back painful memories of the late 60's when the Bills went 1-13 and wound up selecting OJ as the #1 pick in the draft. I remembering watching the last game of the year. It was against the equally bad Dolphins. The Bills almost won the game and almost lost the #1 pick to the fish. Can you imagine if OJ had played most of his career in Miami? -
Should The Bills Trade McCoy

When Peterman was inserted against the Colts, no when Peterman was named the starter on opening day, no when Peterman beat out McCarron, no when, .... Just no.... -

Bronco's cut Chad Kelly

If he comes to the Bills, his uncle Jimbo will keep him in line. Sign him, dump Nate. He can fog a mirror. If it will get Peterman off our roster, sign him now!!! -

How can you give up on Allen after 5 games? He is a raw prospect. The majority of successful qbs took time to develop. Give the kid a chance. -

I am cautiously optimistic. Beane has made some moves that I initially did not agree with, but they later turned out to be smart moves. This has been a difficult season, but one that we expected. I am hopeful that we will start to see the team of the future start to come into focus next season. IF we are not serious contenders for a playoff spot by the 2020 season, then it will be time to move on. -
The Vikings think Allen > Darnold
longtimebillsfan replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Derek Anderson can be that veteran voice. Allen will most likely start when he is healthy, but Anderson maybe able to provide the instructions and insights that will help Allen develop. I am on board with wr's with the first three picks. I would be willing to bet that one of the first two picks will be a defensive player.
