As much as I want to believe that the NFL is above board, the constant ridiculous calls, no calls, and absurd interpretation of play reviews that seem to constantly go in favor of the Patriots does make one wonder. This started with the "tuck rule" call that to my knowledge has never been ex for any other player than Brady. This has got to stop!

RIP Joe O’Donnell

I had the opportunity to me him. He was a really good man. Sorry to hear of his passing. -
Just got a stadium survey from the Bills
longtimebillsfan replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a very interesting survey. I am concerned that the Buffalo market will not support PSLs. A stadium renovation would be the only way to avoid PSLs. -
Team Identity when they move

You are very well informed. Thank you. -
Team Identity when they move

That makes sense. Living in Las Vegas, I do not think I will ever root for the Raiders. The Rams would have been more tolerable. -
Team Identity when they move

I agree with your point, but the question remains, does the team owners own the Brand, or does the city? This is not an easy issue to navigate. I have read that the city of Oakland does not have a very good chance to win their lawsuit. -
Team Identity when they move

Oakland has brought a law suit trying to retain the Raiders name as well. I doubt that Mark Davis would be willing to give up the Raiders brand without a fight. Loosing the Raiders identity would greatly reduce the value of his franchise. It is not that easy to accomplish. -
Build a dominant O-Line!
longtimebillsfan replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This could take more than one year to accomplish. The recent track record offensive linemen's performance after signing large free agent contacts have not been encouraging. Even if we find free agents, it takes a season at least for the line to gel. I think this will be a two year process, but hope we show significant improvement in oline play in 2019. -
Lorax - should he be extended?

With Kyle Williams retirement, we need veteran leadership bring him back for a reasonable one year contract. -
Bills fire WR Coach Terry Robiskie

For Allen's development, continuity is important. Yes, keep Dabol. -
Which AAF Team to root for.

Does that mean Peterson will be the Birmingham starting qb in their first season? That may look better to nate than the Raiders practice squad. -
Offensive Line: Who Stays Who Goes
longtimebillsfan replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would say center and left guard our positions that need to be addressed in free agency with veteran upgrades. The draft could help round out our depth along with no drafted free agents. -
You showed insight that many of us lacked on draft day. I was one of those that were expecting to hear "Rosen" after hearing Josh. I was holding my head and saying 'nooooooooooo! I could not have been more wrong. Allen has not only off the charts physical skills, he has the intangibles to be a leader of men and a winner in the NFL. He has already shown the ability to make other players around him better. I am extremely optimistic about the future of this franchise with Allen leading our team back to the glory days!!!

Antonio Brown Trade Value
longtimebillsfan replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown doesn't seem like the 'team first" kind of player that this administration is looking for. I just don't see this happening. -
Josh Allen named AFC offensive player of the week

I agree with you100%! -
Josh Allen named AFC offensive player of the week

I haven't seen it mentioned, but Allen's completion percentage vs the Dolphins was over 65%! -
Josh Allen named AFC offensive player of the week
longtimebillsfan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not weird at all. The expectations were very low this year. 6 wins over achieved. With a few breaks, we could have been 8-8. This is a great way to end the season. Congratulations to Josh and the Bills. It feels really good to have a reason to be optimistic for the 2019 season. Now let's nail free agency and the draft. Go Bills! -
2019 NFL Draft: Bills officially picking 9th
longtimebillsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will he be available at 9? Some are saying he could be the #1 overall pick. -
So realistically, who do you want at 9?
longtimebillsfan replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love to see us draft edge rusher Josh Allen from Kentucky. But he will most likely be gone before #9. -
It's an emotional tie to the team. My family had season tickets since Rich stadium opened in 1973. My wife and I moved to Las Vegas in 2001. I kept the season tickets until 2011 when I could no longer sell them. I believe I am as much of a fan now as I was when we were season ticket holders. Fandom is not measured by $$$. It is what is in your heart. If you die a little every time the bills loose and your week is a little better whenever they win, you are a true fan.

Anyone else feeling a bit depressed?
longtimebillsfan replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. You wait so long for the season to begin and it is over in a blink of an eye. This could be an exciting off season though. Especially if we are active in free agency. Let's hope. -
What is a high ceiling player in the NFL?
longtimebillsfan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why is the fact that 2018 is a transition year lost on the "sky is falling, fire everyone" posters? The struggles we have experienced were expected. Let's wait until this time next year to tear down this regime.
