  1. It has been mentioned a number of time this off season that the Bills need to upgrade our backup quarterback position. Would cam Newton be an upgrade? He and Josh have similar skill sets so the offense does not have to change style of play if Josh gets injured? Thoughts?
  2. Great article! My biggest concern is how we hand a very challenging schedule. but this will be offset by the fact that the rest of the AFC East teams have a more difficult schedule, because they have to face the BEAST OF THE EAST twice a year...THE BUFFALO BILLS!!!
  3. Well that's gotta change. How does he feel about beef on wecks?
  4. I guess this is a high risk, high reward situation. We might as well get behind this move. It is going to happen.
  5. That was my first reaction when I heard about this trade. But, I still completely trust Beane. He has a plan and he has shown that his moves usually turn out for the best. We have a experienced proven #1 receiver compared with an unproven risk if we were to draft a receiver with our #22 pick . Trust Mcbeane...Trust the process!!!
  6. Yeah, but he's not a process guy...your welcome.
  7. Not sure what you are referring to. Spain gave up 0 sacs in 2019. Did you see a stat that Spain gave uo a large number of QB pressures?
  8. No, No, No, let me think.....NO! Beasley is an incredible slot receiver. A #1 receiver can be obtained through the draft. Oh by the way...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  9. We need to continue to bring in "process" players. No retreads please.
  10. HI: Welcome back. I agree with you on all of your recommendations with the exception of Chuck Knox. He was 37-36 as head coach of the Bills (if my math is correct). He had two winning seasons 80 (11 - 5) and 81(10-6). Knox was 1-3 in playoff games. The Bills actually had just two losing seasons prior to Knox being hired. Though he was a big name hire, his time in buffalo was moderately successful. Not wall of fame material in my opinion.
  11. No one know what goes on in a player's mind. Just looking at Shaq's career, it should be considered a possibility.
  12. My only concern is that he just happened to peak in his free agency year. I could see him losing his motivation after signing his big contract. If they resign him, I hope the contract is incentive based.
  13. They are getting concessions from the league that they have been trying to get for a long time. My point wad a lack of concern on the part of the owner's, not the players. And I do believe the players are concerned with the CT issue.
  14. I agree to a point, but if the league was truly concerned about player safety, a 17th game would not even have been proposed.
  15. My first reaction to a 17th game is that we see the real lack of concern by the NFL for player safety. The NFL implemented the concussion protocol and modified rules to reduce injuries due to social pressure. When there is potential to increase revenue, player safety takes a back seat every time.
  16. I am with you on most of what you said with the exception of brown. Beans and McDermott have made it clear that they want team first players not me first players. You couldn't find a more me first player than brown. I doubt that this will happen.
  17. At 35 with a history of injuries...why?
  18. Why not just call it what it is...MONEY BALL!!!
  19. During his run in Oakland, the Bills were terrible. It was really difficult to see him do so well in black and silver.
  20. The Legend continues in New England sports. Class acts all the way.
  21. Eli had a great career. He was MVP of both Superbowl wins. He beat the Patriots twice in the big game. I have never been a big fan of "stat machine " quarterbacks that put up big numbers but do little else.
  22. Manfred had too much integrity. The Yankees would receive the same punishment. Steinbrenner wad banned for a year two different times. It wasn't Manfred, but it was MLB. Your cynicism is showing.
  23. I doubt that he is the kind of "team first" player that Beans and McDermott are looking for. Let him go to the Raiders.
  24. I wouldn't discount the Titans. You never know.
