  1. To your first point, it's sad but you are probably right. To your second point, he looks like the cover of MAD magazine. Might happen can be applied to just about anything.
  2. HI: Your take is a bit inaccurate. This article is just saying that they have contingencies. I live in Las Vegas. They continue to work on the stadium through this quarantine period. if an outbreak of Covid 19 is discovered among the construction workers, then the work site could be shut down. As of now, the stadium is still on track, This link shows a PFF article that talks about contingencies but states that it is expected to be completed on time. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/04/13/raiders-line-up-contingencies-but-hope-stadium-opens-on-time/ Let's pump the breaks here.
  3. It's too early to tell. He was drafted with the understanding that he was a raw talent. He has only two years of NFL experience. He showed significant improvement in year two. It is absurd to expect him to be a finished product in two years. It may take four or five years to see his full potential. Some quarterbacks have taken longer to blossom. No one can truly answer your question at this point in Allen's career.
  4. Was it that Woods didn't want to be in Buffalo or did we not use him correctly? I really don't know the answer to that.
  5. And he is trying to prove that it was a mistake to release him???? I don't do this often, but I agree with Whaley's decision on this one. Wow!
  6. I think the haters are in the minority. We have a few "internet Rambos" that like to positon themselves as NFL experts that know more than anyone else. Most of us realize that Josh was a developmental pick and it is enjoyable to see him show progress each year. Only time will tell, but he has brought an excitement and energy to the team we have not seen in a long time. There will always be hand wringers and naysayers. We can't let them spoil our fun. Go Josh! Go Bills!!
  7. I wouldn't be surprised. This kind of article is the result of sports writers not having anything to report. Fake news?
  8. BPA is the best approach. You are correct in stating that we go play needs in the later rounds. My wish is to get a db or ol in the early rounds if it falls that way.
  9. This reaction seems a bit contrived. Just because he liked a comment from a fan doesn't mean his is disrespecting Diggs. That is a bit of a stretch.
  10. That was my thinking. If Cam had no opportunity to compete for a staring position, the Bills would be a logical option Fir him to serve as a backup.
  11. Agreed. Like Beans said, dogs is our first found draft pick. All in on this trade. Supposedly, the retraints are coming off this year. I would love to see what Josh will do in a wide open offense.
  12. Let's hope the work Allen is doing on his long ball throws pays off. He certainly has he weapons.
  13. I was sorry to see him go the first time. This is great news!
  14. Thank you for letting us know. You and your family will be in our prayers.
  15. This is your opinion, correct? If Newton became our backup, I am confident that McBeane would have defined his role and obtained a buy in from him. In my opinion. As far as your last point, skill set extremely important when your QB goes down. Do you remember games last year when Allen was not able to play or finish games? Not pretty.
  16. Don't underestimate McDermott in handling difficult personalities. He may be able to sell Cam this new role.
  17. I can't say how Cam will handle the downside of his career. The fact that he has a history with Beane and to a lesser extent McDermott, this may be a good situation for him.
  18. Isn't that the definition of a backup QB. I don't see many starting opportunities for Cam. The important question is: is Cam an upgrade to our current back up? I believe that he would be yes.
  19. It was an over payment when you compare it to other trades for similarly talented receiver, but it was what the market demanded to get the hob done. I am glad that Beans was willing to be mire aggressive to close the deal.
  20. These three pieces are very doable. With Allen's work ethic, we should expect him to display continued improvement. I'm not sure he will be a Mahomes in year three, but he will be much closer to where we want him to be. I expect we will sign a veteran RB before the draft. we will most likely draft a RB in the middle rounds of the draft. If Beane follows what he has done in the past, he will move up in the second round and get the edge rusher he covets. 3 for 3. Super Bowl in 2020!!
  21. We may have overpaid a bit, but I like the fact that Beane was decisive and went after the player he wanted. He know we were competing with a few other teams. I love this trade.
  22. I doubt that the Pats will be as bad as everyone expects. With BB on the sidelines, he will get the most out of whatever players they put on the field. If the Pats win the AFC East again, what does that say about Brady?
