thing is, his record really means little at this point. what matters is if he manages this offense successfully and that is no guarantee. the gm/hc are going to give the press and fans what they want to hear and not give any indication of a qb controversy, which there isn't at this time. peterman will start at some point whether it be the opener because taylors not cleared or if taylor were to stink up the joint, which both are very possible scenarios. overlooking that or ignoring it is really just a case of denial or the fact that you and some others don't want to see peterman under center this season. when the reality is, he likely will be at some point with so many variables.

I'm leaning towards 2-14. I mean, 5-11 is really no different other than the almighty draft position that is on the line so why not just predict 1-15, 2-14? 5-11 is giving the bills too much credit and hurts their draft position. after all, this is a tank season.

how do you know he works best for the team? are you basing this off preseason? I'm not going to deny the kid looks pretty good but I'm not going to crown him or claim he's the best for the team short or long term just yet. tuel looked good too and if I remember correctly fans were calling for him to start as well. if anything, peterman has worked hard and earned the back up position and he very well could be the long term back up for this team. if taylor is not ready I will look forward to what he can do with a real game on the line and will pull for him to have some success but as it stands, he is the back up QB.

I like what I see in him. I'm looking more forward to real game speed but even then, he seems like a gamer. he'll take his licks but he seems to manage the O pretty well here in preseason. he was #3 coming in and may start if taylor isn't cleared?
