I'm done with Tyrod Taylor

you'll have to live with it this season so complaining anymore about it is just that, complaining. this team will look even more different in 2018 then they do presently on both sides of the ball. they draft their QB and pick up a fa (maybe brees) who the rookie will sit behind. while I believe peterman was drafted solely to be the future back up? he is not a starter and may be given his chance to play late in the season when and if it's a lost cause so they can evaluate his future, no reason to put him in before that time. -

Is this the new "normal" for Dareus
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
when I spend, it is the bills generating that $ as part of the revenue they bring in, a small part considering the millions spent. what they do with it after the fact, I have no control over. therefore, I do not sign his check. -

it's not the school man. it's today. alabama is a strong program. what a kid does with his mind after leaving, is on him. these kids today seem to have more issues then back in the day. although, back in the day wasn't in the spotlight either. however, he will be gone this off season. I hold no grudges nor animosity to an nfl player who I have no control over, I don't sign his check. their agent and the buffalo bills hand out the contracts. some meet and exceed expectations, some don't. I know one thing, he had/has potential but I'm not going to gain anything by calling him names. I hope he can contribute what they ask of him this season and then it'll be fare well. -

Final Play--- drop or bad throw poll

they lost the game. they meaning the two on the last play and the team as a whole. both -
well, if you need to look at it that way. I tend to check them all out, even mosey over to PPP on occasion, never looking to avoid much. I came to the thread to question what you were trying to prove with the thread. I guess "prove" was the wrong word, instead I should of said gain. newton is not the greatest but he is a competitor and can throw the football pretty well. I suspect the post surgery had to have some factor in his game sunday and facing a stout bills defense didn't help either. sorry if I was stepping on your toes or crashing your party. I realize they were the last opponent and I assume since QB seems to be your favorite position, you wanted to share how much you feel cam newton is way overrated. will you be doing these type of threads on the opponents QB's every week? just asking in advance in case I want to stop by, *if that's okay with you?

he shouldn't start until 2019? I believe he will sit behind the fa they bring in (maybe brees) while being groomed and if peterman can handle the next level he will likely be the back up to the rookie. taylor wont be in a bills uni in 2018. -

you need to give him until the bye. the kid will do no better but if taylor can not lead the offense to wins and they lose the next three, which is possible, then you bench him for the kid. allow him to get his licks and some time at the next level to reassure that he can be what he was drafted for, the back up to the rookie. -

when he is gone after this season who will be the new player on the whipping post? -
Denver doesn't want to come here.

that will likely change this week. -
I guess my point was why nit pick his game? we played him, they won. I believe, could be wrong but I believe the OP was comparing to justify both had a bad game and wanted to show cam was no better than taylor. both had a bad game, both faced a pretty stout defense. bills and taylor lost. also my point was, regardless of how he got there through good and bad games, he still managed to see the post season and sb. something I am pretty certain taylor will not do with the bills unless they make both this season. taylor is on the outs after the 2017 season I do believe. who cares if he's overrated, really? so you'll be discussing how overrated siemian is next week also?
-
what exactly are you trying to prove with this thread? that both taylor and cam had a bad game? that cam is losing his game? other than both having a bad game they have very little in common as far as size and ability to throw the football, cam wins there. one thing taylor will not do as cam has done with his team is lead them to the playoffs and a sb appearance. so nit picking cams game is pretty useless when trying to justify taylors bad game.

Why did the bills draft Peterman?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
future (present) back up to the rookie they pick next draft. just my opinion of course. I'm not yet to the point where I would call for taylors benching. it begins with denver and from what I saw in the offense last week, that includes play calling, not all on taylor, I don't see a victory. they lose to denver and atl, maybe they beat cincy, maybe? give it the bye, make a decision then. they wouldn't be doing peterman any favors because he is not ready. this is not preseason but let him take his licks and get him adjusted to the next level so when his number is called, he can be at the ready? he'll back up the rookie. be the teams thigpen, well, he could be the next frank reich? back up none the less. -
how did he do yesterday against washington? was it two catches for 30 yds? woods had one catch for 8 yrds. not trying to knock him but since goffs go to guy yesterday was everett and gurley, watkins was no real factor. as for whether the zay play would of come out differently had watkins been there. you would like to believe it would of but then again I couldn't say with certainty watkins makes that catch either. time to move on from sammy watkins.

time will tell. doubtful it's peterman, they likely drafted him for the (future) back up position, where he is now. I don't see him as a long term starter regardless of whether he's had a chance or not to prove it. my guess, it'll be a fa, one who can throw the football that will start in 2018 while the rookie is groomed for a season and peterman will be the rookies back up in 2109. 2019, where the team after two years of putting it all together may finally compete for a playoff berth? I know one thing, I don't have a whole hell of a lot of time for these rebuilds so I damn sure hope they get it right this time around. in the mean time, it will be pretty much the same bills football we've endured the last 17 years, likely finishing the next two seasons at or below .500. anything aside from that would be a real surprise to me. -

they did in a way. cut his pay and traded off his best wide receivers. you may not believe it was to set him up to fail but it didn't help his cause any. they knew going in to this season it was taylors last year. if fans think the roster was different this season wait until next season when they wipe the slate clean of any whaley remnants. dareus will be gone, taylor and mccoy and kyle will retire. they may keep a fa agent or two like ingognito and hughes? I just hope with the new QB they bring in a better OC, dennison doesn't impress me all that much although some may feel he can only do so much with what he has in a QB? taylor has likely seen his last opportunity to start in this league and will have to settle for a back up position elsewhere in 2018? -
