great trade beane. 3rd/7th for a player who played a game and 1/2 a quarter. on another note, looking back it seemed when he went down it took all the air out of the team and they never recovered.

no doubt. the defense had nothing to do with the wins but had everything to do with the losses.

take away the takeaways and what have you got? even then, how many times did they come up with no points after the takeaways? of course that was the defenses fault that the offense could not convert the the turnovers in to points?

get the QB first. bolster the line in the same draft. next draft bolster the Dline and LB sprinkle some fa pick ups in there. it's going to be two full off seasons and possibly the third before they have this roster ready to contend. but it would seem important to get your QB and build his line in the first off season?

I don't know, I have heard the term used many times, sorry it confused you. just one example I found out of the many times "lead" has been used when speaking of a QB. Drew Bledsoe went down in Week 2 of the 2001 season, opening the door for a young upstart named Tom Brady.
