The Switch Makes Me Feel Alive
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to BadLandsMeanie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you base someones fandom on post count? I know I've known of BLM for nearly a decade, as a bills fan. I also used to really appreciate his camp notes he used to share. but, he's got a low post count so no way has he been a bills fan for more than 21 posts. -
I'm curious in regards to Tyrod's skill set
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to SinatraSinger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
so you're saying the last two games had nothing to do with the offense and everything to do with the defense? hot take not to really insult you, but you must be blind. it fell on both sides of the ball -
now that's LARGE. feeling guilty?

I can't see past this game. not always a good idea to use college as a gauge in the next level. I'm pulling for him as I've pulled for all those who have been under (too many to count in the last two decades) center and for me personally, I have a gut feeling the kid will rise to the occasion. whether he does or not remains to be seen.

Are we able to get anything for Tyrod?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to The Tomcat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if Dareus can only get a 6th surely taylor should get a 7th or likely outright released? -
I personally don't believe he will be terrible although it would be a drag if his ass was handed to him but after all it is his first start as a rookie. wont name names but how many rookies had a bad game their first start? I'm thinking more struggled then had success? that said, it wouldn't bother me but this place will be a mess for those still clamoring for taylor. 3 game losing streak in 2016. only 2 in 2015.

mad, please, don't give yourself so much credit. you don't have to be mad to point out the trash you posted through most of the off season, during the sammy trade and up to the benching of taylor. you were very adamant about it, giving folks a hard time. hell, you were short of calling folks crazy because they wanted to see peterman. so don't prance around here trying to look all innocent, you're not. did you apologize to those people for your trash talk? no, you're too good for that. -

I understand all that. I am aware that that team has past players and a coach. I also understand some may and do follow them. I don't and haven't. I apologize to you for getting snarky about it. -

snarky, yes. angry, really? no, I'm not angry. why did you feel you had to let me know you followed them? I already made it clear I did not follow an nfc team why would I care that you did? hence the wgaf as for 26, I know he is admired and appreciated for sharing info. he also was snarky, gave a lot of folks a hard time when they were calling for peterman to start, down right nasty at times. but I know, he gets a pass because he's such an important part of the board with his sharing news and info. GO BILLS!!! -

I don't like him. I watched him really trash people here for calling peterman to start. just not a cool cat to me. he may serve well with his copy/paste news and info, that's great but most could and likely have found the same info with their own click of the mouse. is that okay, or no -
The way we used Tyrod last year was ideal for his skill set. Not only did Tyrod gain a lot of yards on the ground, the threat of his running helped our backs lead the NFL in rushing. More importantly. we scored a lot of points. Instead of running a similar offensive system, Rico put Tyrod in a different kind of offense that hasn't been productive. So now instead of switching offenses he's switching QBs. Peterman might be the next-coming of Brett Favre as Micah suggests. Maybe Peterman's looked so good in practice that they just couldn't sit him anymore. But Rico's decision making has been interesting. we don't know yet. taylor struggled with it, the kid seemed to fit? you can't score points with all the 3 n outs keeping the defense on the field wearing their ass out. I realize the past taylor led offense under romans scheme scrored and ranked much higher than a dennison taylor led offense but could that be taylor is just not a good fit and was not able to adjust? should dennison adjusted to him while the kids in the stable and they have an idea he could? the anticipation to see if that happens is growing for sure. peterman, from the little seen of him, seems to be in control and may be the fit necessary to sustain drives and scoring points, best case scenario of course. unless some are expecting the same 3 n out offense with the kid under center? I just don't see it, I believe he's going to move the offense? it just might be they decided to try and salvage the season sitting at 5-4 and must know more than anyone else in believing the kid will be the better fit. yes preseason, yes garbage time yet it was the plays and how he made them. he looks the part, we'll soon find out.

Anxious/Terrified/Excited - feel them all
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Xerx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
but would he get up and play again is the question? he's going to take his hits, not like that one with the new rules but he will none the less. with his release I'm thinking he may not take as many as you might think? really looking forward to seeing this kid in action, for sure. -
serious question. don't you think posting about them, constantly, nearly every post calling them out as crusading and having an agenda is not crusading and having an agenda as well? I'm guilty of getting involved some, not every day or every post but some. yet I'm also discussing football for the most part here. maybe if you just overlooked it, skimmed over those posts and didn't take it so personal, you might find it to be a much better place to discuss football, no?

not terrified in the least. anxious/excited, yes. if he can take a hit like this, he'll be aight -
so you're saying it didn't matter. you know what, it didn't matter to the coaching staff. I'm sure they were not looking at it in the same respect as a butt hurt fan but rather letting him go out there and make a play or two regardless if it was against starters or not. he starts, you and some others may not like it but it is what it is.
