  1. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
  2. there go again nedboy. folks discussing the future QB and you proclaim it as whining. when the reality is, that's all you do is whine instead of adding anything of substance to the discussion.
  3. get the QB first. bolster the line in the same draft. next draft bolster the Dline and LB sprinkle some fa pick ups in there. it's going to be two full off seasons and possibly the third before they have this roster ready to contend. but it would seem important to get your QB and build his line in the first off season?
  4. I don't know, I have heard the term used many times, sorry it confused you. just one example I found out of the many times "lead" has been used when speaking of a QB. Drew Bledsoe went down in Week 2 of the 2001 season, opening the door for a young upstart named Tom Brady. Brady went on to upset the St. Louis Rams, lead a dynasty, and star in an UGGs commercial. google list
  5. lead > leader of the team why does it have to be far fetched. I pretty much knew you would say he could but you see taylor in a much different light than some so I can see where you would believe he could. so far in his career it's been nothing but excuses why he can't. maybe when he takes flight to another team he'll have the opportunity but I really don't see it happening in buffalo. edit: I say this not necessarily knocking taylor but feel it will take another two (two drafts) off seasons to get the roster to where they can actually compete for a playoff berth, that is if they manage to succeed at doing so? I don't see taylor here in 2019/20.
  6. so do you believe with those outstanding stats he'll lead a team to the playoffs and beyond, you know, a championship? I mean you praise him for his stats yet he has not helped the team to go where it needs to go. I know, it's coaching, bad defense, no wr's so he will likely go down in history just as he is, a stop gap QB with great stats.
  7. it left with rex and hasn't made it's way back yet.
  8. no problem, just an observation is all. glad I could help
  9. although I wont go that far to say he sucks, I will be glad to move on from him after this season. you may want to consider another approach instead of looking like a 12 yr old doodling. unless of course you are 12, then please, carry on.
  10. they clearly are the better team though. they have the better QB and better defense. they were gifted the 5 ints but would the outcome have been different had taylor been in there? some may speculate they would have and some may not of seen a difference other than less ints but the end result, a loss, may of still been the case, wont ever know. I think they still would of lost just based on the two games prior that mainly fell on the defense so chances are good the chargers would of still out scored the bills. Lynn is a pretty good coach and they seem to be picking up steam going in to the final stretch. McD and Company have stripped the roster of talent and are clearly in rebuild mode so it was two teams going in different directions. one lacks talent the other has plenty to win games with at QB, WR and a very stout defensive front. so I feel the chargers are and were the better team. my hope is they manage to climb back in it and take the division giving the bills a better position in the upcoming draft?
  11. dumb, dumb dumb dumb. yeah, he was real good against the back ups in garbage time. I'm sure that was enough for you to regain some hope going in to kc. if they get blown out for a fourth time it wont fall on the shoulders of taylor or the offense though because the defense is so bad, right? as for peterman, historically bad no doubt but once they are eliminated dec 2nd they'll likely give him another chance and he'll take his lumps the last four games so they can go in to the off season and evaluate both QBs. I have a feeling the QB stable will not be the same along with most of the roster going in to 2018?
  12. that's pretty heavy there. You a psychologist are you? sad, fatalistic posts, that's deep.
  13. well, to be honest. I did get through the jets debacle. I did not watch all of the saints game, think it was mid third, had enough. last week when they went up 47-10 late in the third, closed the browser. I saw no reason to partake/watch a beat down, annihilation. no, I watch for obvious reasons, one being a fan. however, I wont be calling anyone pathetic or question their mental stability because they don't see it my way. I didn't question watching, I questioned why come here to the board if some posts are of a negative nature and allow it to bug you to the point of insult? after near about 45 years, I feel I can criticize just the same as I can praise. there has been more criticism and justifiably so in the last two decades. after you see these three year carousals so many times fail, it can be hard to put much stock in to whether they finally succeed. I'll hang in there though. you hang in there yourself nedboy, don't let the critics/haters/agenda group/negative nancies get you down, man.
  14. you have a very poor way of reading people. I don't know if that's something you can teach or just comes with time. I was just yanking your chain the same as you were yanking mine. no real emotion involved, especially anger or in your words mad/emo. no, it would take a hell of a lot more then that to make me mad. if anything I'm mad at myself for hanging in there as long as I have. difference now is I find it much easier to just let go of any hope. hope, mainly false hope is what bills fans have been living on. this season is no different then any of the other so called rebuilds and so far looking like the same (that may of been the worst 3 game stretch I've ever witnessed or remember anyway) end result. as for peterman, sure I was pulling for the kid, another good case of false hope on my behalf. you seem to have some hope for taylor and I certainly wont call you out when he continues to be taylor and he too joins the list, long list of failed attempts at finding stability at the most important position. I've wrote this season off, my choice. after the last three weeks, I don't see any miraculous turn around so they'll miss the post season and lure us in to the off season with all those picks and try and lead the fan base to believe that the process will work and they're building a team with one goal in mind, a championship. it's what keeps us coming back year after year, always thinking this will be the year, how cliche'. I have no choice but to sit back and wait to see if they can bring their "trust the process" in to fruition and finally field a contender?
  15. yeah that was real funny. so was this
  16. hang on to that hope, as long as you can. to answer your question, barely. by a very thin margin that should be all but wiped out come dec 2nd.
  17. hard to pull for the cowgirls but I want to see the chargers lose.
  18. they need to build the team around the likely QB drafted in the next draft. taylor very well could be part of that gutting this off season.
  19. why I did was to let the OP know, even taylor looked bad in that game. one looking better than the other made no real difference anyway, they were not winning that game. the only stats that matter are in the w/l column. you can boast, post and sling stats around all day, if they're not winning football games, making the post season ( has taylor made the post season yet?) then those stats are irrelevant. I did not PUSH for peterman. I pulled for him to do well, why not? I'm tired of taylor, seen enough of him. but, until they're officially eliminated dec 2nd, I'll have to see taylor under center. then, when they're 5-7 it wont matter how much anyone wants to see taylor because they will likely allow peterman to finish the last 4 meaningless games and take his lumps so that during the off season they can evaluate his future, as well as taylors.
  20. they may be, time will tell. I'm still interested in why they lost the other 4 games? you're pretty adamant that starting peterman was the reason for them losing last week.
  21. what for? maybe in your mind he could of made a come back after being down 30? or maybe you just like to see taylor play and it was reason enough for you to keep watching? I saw it go to 47-10 after that play and said there are better things in life to do than to watch that garbage. hell, I may not even make it past the half this next game if their getting their ass handed to them like the last 3 weeks? before you go and question why I should or shouldn't watch or if it means I'm more or less a fan, I'm not dedicated enough to waste my time watching a beat down.
  22. I see your defense is still holding strong JM. what will be your breaking point if they don't go (no way they win 5 out of 6, 10-6) 7-9 as you projected? what if they don't win another game? are you still going to be defending taylor and his record? blame the defense? you blame peterman for the last loss, who do you blame for the other 4? you're fighting a losing battle here and sooner then later your defense is going to be all for naught. no, I'm not rooting for players to fail or the team to fail or for coaches to fail. I don't have to, they seem to be doing a good job on their own. difference is, I'm not wearing blinders and seen enough to take that little bit of hope I may of had and sweep it under the rug, where it belongs until they start showing some competence, start contending. thing is, I may not live long enough to see that happen because I'm almost certain it's not happening anytime soon?
