Tommy Doyle INJURY ????????????????????????????
Dr.Sack replied to Snappysnackcakes's topic in The Stadium Wall
6’8” with a long leg build. -
Beane is below the Chiefs and Bengals the past 4 drafts (2019-2022). Hopefully the 2023 class is great which is the OPs point. Our job is not to draft players and see them leave. Draft, develop and retain. And in the rare event you find a good one re-sign them. The Bills let Edmunds walk for a compensatory pick that Beane will likely spend on a Luke Tenuta-Tommy Doyle level talent. Yuck.

Subpar drafts are the main reasons why we haven’t won it all yet. Drafting and retaining on the roster is a huge factor in continued success. 2019 Oliver & Knox (2/8). 2020 Epenesa, Davis, Bass, Jackson (4/7). 2021 Rousseau, Basham, Brown, Doyle, Hamlin (5/8). 2022 Elam, Cook, Bernard, Shakir, Benford, Spector (6/8). 17/31 draft picks remain on the team. 2019 KC (1/6) 2020 KC (5/6) 2021 KC (6/6) 2022 KC (10/10) Total 22/28 KC has been more efficient at drafting especially considering their disastrous 2019 draft class. It’s no wonder why they have stayed at the top of the AFC and have hosted the AFC Championship 5 consecutive seasons. In order for the Bills to catch-up they must hit on a higher % of their draft class.

Tommy Doyle INJURY ????????????????????????????

Average is good. Hoping for a full recovery soon. -
Dude looks bigger in Year 2.
-
Stickier coverage and blitzes helps
-
6’4” and a solid 244. Will be a monster in 2-3 seasons. Year 1 won’t be pretty.
-
Cook, Kincaid, Torrence, Elam, Dorian Williams IF a LB goes down.

Gabe is too good to not re-up. His stats are right on par with DeVante Adams 3 seasons in. Adams 281 targets / 163 receptions / 1,926 yards / 16 TDs Playoffs 43 targets / 28 receptions / 389 yards / 4 TDs Davis 218 targets / 118 receptions / 1,984 yards / 20 TDs Playoffs 37 targets / 22 receptions / 474 yards / 6 TDs

Hopefully not -
Jets sense frustration from Aaron Rodgers after spotty practice
Dr.Sack replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rodgers won’t have a run game, quality OL like he had in GB. He’s going to have to be Superman at age 40. Look out. -
When was the last time Dane Jackson made a critical play in a big game? I don’t remember. I recall Elam picking Mahomes, and making 2 huge plays vs Miami in the playoffs.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
Dr.Sack replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless players significantly fall off due to age I see zero positions of decline outside the huge ? At MLB. -
Kincaid (Oct 1999) is a year older than Pitts (Oct 2000). That said, I expect a soon to be 24 year old rookie to be ready to dominate.

Lou certainly has the experience to improve Miami’s defense regardless of Ramsey’s status, but the number 1 thing that separates these teams is QB. Tua has not proven he can survive a full season. Miami has had a good offseason, but they have tinkered around the edges compared to 2022. Looking at offensive personnel the addition of Hardy and Shurfield are an upgrade over McKenzie/Crowder/Beasley. The RBs we brought in are perfect for RZ finishing. Then there’s Kincaid who could be dynamite in the RZ and 3rd down. On defense the offseason additions of Poona, Rapp, Floyd, retaining Poyer, return of Hyde & Von are huge. Couple that with Rousseau being a year older, White being 18 post ACL and rounding back to top form. The X-Factor is McDermott now running the show on D. The Bills on paper have a head coach who has proven he can match the top offenses in the NFL with an All-Pro MLB. Certainly he doesn’t have Luke Kuechly, so we will need to see how our defensive philosophy changes from Frazier.

Gabe Davis has done things that few WRs have ever done before. Is he perfect? No. Is he a nice complimentary piece behind a Top 5 WR? Yes. And for everyone who says production matters, his nickname is Playoff Gabe. I appreciate players who play their best when the playoffs come.

Bills working out FA receiver Andy Isabella tomorrow UPDATE: SIGNED
Dr.Sack replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don’t worry, Kincaid will be a top 5 target/reception TE.
