    Mahomes got caught trying to extend a play and throwing the ball off platform and surprise was sandwiched between two defenders. If Mahomes was more balanced it’s doubtful he is injured there. This is as much on Mahomes throwing off balance with a weak base than it is some defender maliciously targeting his leg. It’s unfortunate but he’s lucky to have survived major injury.

    Player fell on outside of Mahomes ankle and his ankle bent outwards. That’s a classic high ankle sprain. The question is if it’s Grade 1 2 or 3. By the looks of it likely grade 1 or 2. Exactly. If a team overloads and rushes from Mahomes left he will be having to peddle backwards planting and pushing off that right ankle.

    Mahomes ability to evade the pass rush in the pocket has killed many team. He won’t be able to get much of any push off that right ankle. He will still be dangerous but he will be not close to 100%. Allen has a lingering elbow injury. There are no excuses. The stars are aligning.
