If there was ever a game we missed the quick outlet passes it was this game. Kincaid might not be lighting the league on fire, but he does have sure hands and is an extension of the run game. We need Allen to get the ball out earlier and often. Also a screen pass, toss or jet sweep would be nice.

14 points won’t cut it vs many teams including New England. We need to score about 26-28 to have a chance most weeks. Defense is different now without White, Milano & Jones.

Knox is having major difficulties making any difficult catch on the edge of his catch radius. To me he is struggling to bend. Seems inflexible. Kelce is 7 years older and appears 7 years younger. Knox has had back issues this season, no?

Purdy makes less than every Golden State Warrior. He makes a high level WNBA salary. A great fit for the Shanahan scheme. More mobile than Tua, great accuracy, instinct and feel for the game, with pocket level mobility and athleticism a tier below Mahomes. My belief is that the supporting cast and playbook makes his life easy. Once injuries to the supporting cast inevitably happen, he will have to do more and that is when we will find out how sustainable he is. We’ve seen one major injury so far. My belief is he is injury prone and his career will more resemble the Jimmy G path than Golden Boy Brady.

Kincaid and Knox are a big reason Allen is leading the league in completion %, I have to believe this is a conscious effort to keep the offensive drives on schedule, and make for more manageable 3rd downs. Up until Thursday night Kelce was averaging around 7 ypr. Not saying Kincaid will ever break out, but he could if they mimic the kinds of routes/options and get in sync with Allen.

Ironically it’s the rush defense, not the pass defense that has let us down. Losing Milano, and Jones is a bigger blow imho to fixing the rush defense. I don’t mind the pass defense getting burned long so long as they can get the QB consistently as it’s proven fact the ability to get off the field and not endure long sustained drives is what causes a defense to wear down and get injuries.
