Bengals looked good tonight, they are stingy with the ball and score early. I think the Bills inability to create more than 3 points on drives 2-8 was the game. You can’t have 7 drives in a row that yield 3 points and 2 turnovers. Clean up the turnovers, and it’s a tie game. Assume the Bengals finish as a Wild Card, it’s probably going to be a challenge to see them going on the road and beating KC, Jax, Baltimore. Miami clearly can be beaten by Cincy. So far as overhyping the Bengals, I just don’t think they have the running game, similar to Buffalo that can win a road playoff game. It will take a nearly flawless passing game from Burrow and turnovers. Tua will give them that. Mahomes, Lawrence and Jackson will likely not give the Bengals those chances.

If Allen hands the ball off 1st and 2nd down then he can’t get hurt.

Beane would never allow that, plus Daboll could crush Allen’s bad habits developed in his absence.

If the weather is crap, which it is in Buffalo come playoff time then 12 personnel makes sense. That said, being that we are likely to be the #7 at best, then we will be playing in pass friendlier climates.

Before the game if someone told you this: Drive 1 TD. Drive 9 TD. Drives 2-8, punt, pick, punt, end of half, FG, punt, fumble. 7 drives 3 points, 2 turnovers, 3 points against off turnovers. You would likely conclude the Bills would have been blown out. The fact it was a game with 3 minutes to go shows just how close this team was to winning. Unfortunately another game with zero defensive turnovers and too many turnovers.

I think they got caught not having a plan last drive 1 and went with the off-season installed offense to try and manhandle the Bengals. The OL has been upgraded but looks much better in 11 than 12.

The offense was bogged down in 2021. The team was 7-6. The difference is Miami, and the Jets are better than 2021. On the bright side the Bills have a better running back Cook > Singletary, and tight end Kincaid > Knox. The issue is the defense is banged up. Our starting field position is worse and our defense is being drove on resulting in zero margin for error for the O to operate. All the more reason for the offense to play uptempo and play more aggressive.

Kincaid is damn good. Imagine Diggs, Kincaid and oh I don’t know, Marvin Harrison Jr. Now that would be dynamic.

Wasn’t this the case in 2021 after the wind game? Wasn’t Allen 7-6 outside looking in. Suppose we go 2-2 next 4, same record same situation.

Allen isnt a god? Allen can’t heal like Jesus Christ? White, Milano & Jones would be healthy if Mahomes/Lawrence/Jackson/Stroud/Burrow was our QB. Coz they are gods.

Dorsey should get a chance to let Allen save his job. Install a no-huddle uptempo offense and let Allen call the plays. BTW, is the weather Monday night conducive to passing?

All the more reason to win a game. Do we go uptempo or more 11 to get Cook and Murray going?

Beat the Broncos and get healthy. We have 8 games left.

Bills are playing Monday night. Would you prefer the team mutinies and gives up?

McDermott nearly stopped Burrow with DuctTape. It was a valiant effort and the defensive intensity was there. Kincaid’s fumble, Allen’s grounding, and the heater pass to Davis in the end zone were 3 crucial misses. Execute any one differently and we have a chance.

The Broncos game will tell a lot about the mental psyche of this team.

On the bright side we will be drafting mid 1st round. We probably can get a top 3 CB, top Safety, top RB, top DT, maybe even WR 2.

McDermott presser was great. It’s hard to win in the NFL. Some people don’t realize how hard it is.

Tre made a huge pick this year vs Washington. We could use picks like that, no?

The Bills losing FG at end of 1st half cost us 3. McD should have tried a bomb with clock running tho. Also Kincaid dives instead of trying to get RAC it’s another 3 minimum. That’s 6 points in a 6 point game theoretically.

We need to trust in Dorian Williams and Kaiir Elam. We’ve seen them make turnovers, but they don’t do a good job keeping the ball in front of them. Do you live with the mistakes and take the playmaking ability tradeoff?

The two offensive turnovers were the difference.

If we had lost other players instead of Tre, Milano, and Jones we were better. Hard to replace those guys. How many guys are missing from Bengals defense? Hubbard, Wilson, Taylor-Britt?
