  1. I don’t f’ing know how this game plays out. If the team quits on McDermott it would be a damn shame. They likely are playing for their jobs. If they get rolled they quit and that means McDermott has some house cleaning to do.
  2. Firing McD would set this franchise back 5 years. The leadership void would be huge. Geeks like McDaniel are dimes a dozen. Few men can lead others and get them to run through brick walls. McDermott teams don’t quit and are hard to beat. I appreciate the toughness of his teams.
  3. Josh needs to recognize his arm limitations. No other QB tries the honey hole cover 2 beater to Davis. It’s the definition of insanity. Just limit those unforced picks and find the 2nd read, and on occasion be consistent in climbing the pocket with down field eye vision, too often we see Josh bail out to the right, or become a scrambler up the middle and drop his eyes.
  4. McDermott in a down year may get this beat up Bills team to the playoffs with street players on defense. There’s no way McDermott should be forced out as coach. McDermott is 5-4 with a bottom ranked defense, a 2nd year OC, and a QB who leads the league in turnovers since entering. McDermott is a cool cat. We should appreciate what he has done for the franchise instead of dumping on him.
  5. Belichick shouldn’t be fired. He’s almost to the win record. Only 30 wins away. That buys us 15 years? 🤣
  6. The Bills defense is averaging .25 turnovers per game the last 4 games. What are chances they force a turnover? If not, I don’t see them winning without a turnover.
  7. Allen can’t be coached because what coach has ever coached someone with his skill set?
  8. I think Rousseau makes the tackle Von whiffed on.
  9. Only bad teams punt.
  10. How many QB hits did we get with 5 and 6 man pressure?
  11. How certain are we that Dorsey isn’t calling the game plan based on McDermott’s input?
  12. Things that help create turnovers: consistent pass rush, physicality, a lead, playmakers/timing.
  13. The defense did a good job against the run, bludgeoned Burrows throwing finger, and mostly shut down Chase. What it failed to do, was in sending safeties and 6 man pressures account for the tight end blockers who simply chipped took a few steps forward and turned for wide open passes. Screens and lobs always defeat an overly aggressive defense. We did this against the Texans in the 2020 playoffs and we continually allow unaccounted for gains.
  14. At some point you have to wonder if Dorsey is lacking confidence. Is he scared of calling an aggressive offense?
  15. The Bills have lost 4 games where they have scored 79 points (16, 20, 25, 18). They have turned the ball over 10 times while generating 4 turnovers. Cut down on the turnovers, get back to uptempo and play more risky. If McDermott can send 6, he can certainly go for it on 4th down.
  16. 8 games left, epic turnarounds have happened. Go 5-3. Punch a ticket to the postseason. Lots of things can happen b/n rubber mats and banana peels. I recall the 2010 Packers as my cause for optimism.
  17. I also have Ekeler. I am playing Breece Hall. Hoping Herbert doesn't have an Allen like meltdown here. Clinging to a 10 point lead.
  18. Elam has shown me more pick ability than Dane & Benford have ever shown. Now that isn't to say Elam is fundamentally sound but he makes plays.
