  1. All negatives then you imply a color equivalency? Smh
  2. I went through most of these backups stats. Many veterans Cassel included were once serviceable but are now on the downside of their career. I'd put EJ in the top 16 only because he's relatively younger at 26, and he has learned for 4 seasons.
  3. Heard IK's knee got sucker punched by the infamous turf monster.
  4. I respect AW so much. He needs to take off the rest of camp & be ready for week 1.
  5. He will be wearing offensive linemen cleats with the titanium padding for his foot. Relying almost entirely on his shiftiness Edelman can ill afford lingering affects of the broken foot that plagued him last year. Foot injuries are no joke. If this becomes chronic he's done.
  6. Rex Ryan & his brother could be a good thing. You never know. McCoy is gonna be alright. Sure he's 28 & on downside of great career but he's relatively healthy albeit a sore hammy. Better to rest now for regular season. Backup RB is not better. In fact he wasn't even the man at Florida State. He's just a one cut big lumbering back, easily replaced. Shaq Lawson is only a rookie. Rarely do first round Defender's outside of a few All Pro's make an impact year 1. Reggie Ragland was a 2nd round guy with some negatives & was questioned whether he could be a 3 down linebacker. Sammy should be ready week 1. I say rest McCoy & Clay too. Season too important. Tyrod has yet to show ability to win games with his arm, and not rely on his legs. If resigned to a bridge contract it's $ well spent. If we do go 4-12 it's likely new coach & QB. So we win with either outcome.
  7. That's as much as I would want to risk on QB who hasn't yet shown he can stay healthy, and is 0-5 when attempting over 30 passes.
  8. Tyrod is injury prone & is 0-5 when forced to throw over 30 passes in a game. I like his ability to read defenses but he needs to learn how to hit passes in the middle of a defense & to climb the pocket and be passer first. I think you let him go if he repeats his 2015 performance and shows no statistical improvement.
  9. Manning was what 21/22 with no NFL experience, and on a team that went 1-15 or 3-13 the year before? Tyrod had 4 years on the bench to become a polished QB. Lookup Aaron Rodgers which is a comparable comparison. They are 1" height difference, and highly mobile. Rodgers went 4-8, and for his career 56-30.
  10. The reality is eventually a QB has to win games with his arm. Troubling statistics for the Bills Tyrod is 0-5 when attempting over 30 passes in a game. Tom Brady is 119-38. Jim Kelly went 40-44. For the record EJ Manuel is 1-8 when attempting over 30 passes in a game.
  11. I love fatties. Roll em up, light em up. Looks like Draymond Green. Too many testicles in wonton soup.
  12. If EJ has to throw it over 40 times he loses. That is the question here, right? Which QB in his career wins when he has no running game or is behind. Run the numbers on the above QBs and I believe you'd only find a handful (maybe 5) that win a majority of games beyond 40 pass attempts.
  13. Bills haven't won much since 1999. Let that sink in.
  14. Think about Sammy catching the winning TD pass from Tyrod in the Super Bowl.
  15. The media is desperate to destroy Trump now they've spent a year building him up.
  16. Don't mean to beat a dead horse but what is a typical time table for recovery? I believe 6-8 months. So best case November or the last 6-8 games. http://www.earlthomas.com/2015/02/25/et-iii-has-successful-shoulder-surgery/
  17. Ideally you don't want to do that, however when your QB is a money long ball passer like Tyrod you don't mind this. Additionally using 6 blockers opens up the running lanes for Tyrod to punish teams for playing with deep safeties.
  18. Best way to fix that right tackle is to use an additional blocking tight end to either chip on his release or to simply pass protect and double-team the end.
  19. I'm wondering what's the word out of rookie mini-camp? Cardale has a long way to go. Does that mean he has slow eyes like Manuel, and is equally inaccurate?
  20. 2 thoughts on Cardale; has physical ability, lacks mental aspect. Reminds me of a lot of Manuel, as both were bigger QBs who could run, but don't project as runners in the NFL. Additionally both came into the league at relatively old age, Manuel 23, Jones 24. Assuming Jones can be groomed behind Manue for a season, the Bills could bring in another true #2 behind Taylor. Problem is Taylor is free to go after this season if not resigned. Resigning Taylor is important.
  21. Sounds to me that they are about to legalize fracking in WNY, and Pegula is buying up cheap land.
  22. Taylor was great at protecting the ball. Manuel was terrible Indeed. The Jacksonville game alone was an epic meltdown.
