  1. Flutie Flakes were the number 1 selling cereal in WNY.
  2. And yet somehow Wilson will be on the couch while Tyrod is on the field this upcoming weekend. Tyrod is making believers out of the nonbelievers.
  3. Face it, Tyrod is our QB. He found a rhythm with a gimpy Benjamin in New England. Imagine if he had a dominant 6’6 TE & Zay Jones develops into a legit starter. Imagine if Dennison could design an offense around Russell Wilson aka Tyrod Taylor. The Bills needs are beyond the QB position. In fact Pererman, if I’m reading the tea leaves at TBD could be a decent starter/backup, rendering using our 1st round or worse trading and using multiple draft picks to draft a “sure fire” high round 1st a risk not worth taking. McDermott/Beane know the weaknesses of this team. They also know the risks of striking out on QB. If they can win 8 or 9 games with Tyrod behind a talent deprived roster, what can t they do with reserve talent?
  4. Just send some 3rd stringers in late for shots on Brady. He will break.
  5. I think McDermott is not up to date on football metrics & win probability. He knows Tyrod is limited but so is Peterman. Going 8-8 will be hailed as an achievement. The trouble is finding a QB. If they strike out, I doubt Pegula waits for things to turn past 2019. Pegula give Beane & McDermott 2018 to find & develop a QB. That gives them 2019 possibly 2020 to start competing for the playoffs. It shouldn’t take a competent coach & GM 3 seasons to make the playoffs. It has to happen either 2018, or 2019 or they’re both gone.
  6. I’m wondering when Brady is 50 and playing in wheel chair, and Belichick is drooling from his grumpy face how the refs will find ways to keep them on top. The end is near, and it will be glorious fellow loser Bills fans. Hang in there!
  7. I think Marrone is going to rest his guys. The Titans led by Mularkey will pull a repeat of 2004 & lose a gimme game to backups. ?
  8. $50 Gronk would have blown out both ACLs, ruputured a vertebrae in his back & ended his career early on permanent IR after attempting to corral an errant Fitzpatrick high throw in the 2012 season.
  9. Peterman like McDermott is a devout Christian, so they can pray for wins while punting or kicking field goals when they should be going for it.
  10. Imagine if we still had Goodwin to pair with Thompson. I’d like to see that speed matched with a healthy Benjamin & dynamic TE.
  11. We should have a PS RB if not that’s gross negligence, because Tolbert is worthless.
  12. I think the other teams feel bad for our guys having to play in such a ‘bad’ town. The outside national perception of Buffalo is horrible.
  13. The Patriots are one of the cleanest teams in the NFL. Look at the yearly box scores they are hardly ever penalized and Belichick does not tolerate personal foul penalties. Could you see him tolerate Jerry “15 Yard Unsportsmanlike” Hughes? In soccer they award a fair play award to the least penalized team in the World Cup. The Patriots would certainly win this award every year. Gronkowski’s hit was merely out of frustration and he said he wasn’t a dirty player and apologized about it afterward. If Gronk was so hated or so dirty, certainly the Bills would have taken shots at him or Brady today. That didn’t happen. I saw Preston Brown smiling and patting Brady’s helmet after a 4th quarter QB sneak.
  14. If the Bills had a QB as good as Rodgers the NFL would get him the hell out of Buffalo by enforcing this rule.
  15. Then we could trade our 1st with them and get the top QB in the draft while they have a guy who turns 35 next year.
  16. At this point we should be lobbying the NFL to force the Packers to release Rodgers.
  17. It’s a question that needs to be asked. It seems that McDermott is far removed from probability. He’s not doing himself any favors punting in OT against the Colts playing not to lose, or kicking FGs down 7. He’s playing conservative - not to lose football, and that won’t win football games. It’s telling New England scored 24 second half points while we managed 3. The biggest game of the year & McDermott went with a kick that had at best a 55% probability, that still would have put him at a 4 point deficit. It just isn’t good game management. Extending the drive and trying to get 7 to tie was his best hope. Instead it was a quick 14 point swing. I’ll ask anyone on this board, does anyone here have any doubt what Belichick would have done if the situation was reversed?
