  1. I would do it. He’s on pace to join rare company the plus 1,000 receptions plus 14,000 yards club. Having just turned age 31 he’s got a lot of life left in his wiry 6’4” frame.
  2. To me he’s an average depth NFL receiver. He’s inability to separate coupled with the fact he doesn’t have top end speed means he’s not quick enough to play slot, and not fast enough to play on the edges. His best attribute is his hands if schemed into the offense like he was in college, WR screens / slants / hooks. He will never be more than a 11YPC guy. He could be a guy who plays a decade and amasses 40 reception seasons at around 450 yards and 2-5 TDs per year. Because of all these facts I’ve listed, I would still like to see him run deeper decoy routes. We should throw him the occasional 50/50 jump ball given his 6’2” 36.5” vertical.
  3. Gore’s reception out of the backfield was great timing and he picked up solid yards in stride.
  4. Allen’s approach taking things week by week is awesome. He’s not an overly emotional player and he seems to weather the highs and lows quite well.
  5. If Allen kept the ball a little bit lower trajectory on that pass to Mackenzie I believe he could have made it to paydirt.
  6. Nice drive! Lots of big blocks & great 3rd down grab by Beasley!
  7. Thankfully Eli is a shell of his SB winning self.
  8. You can’t have negative yard plays or penalties with a young QB.
  9. Allen has to get the ball out on 2nd and 7 to the check down.
  10. Might want to go with 5 upfront and bring the SS in the box as a 3rd LB.
  11. Edmunds getting caught at the 1st level sucked inside on most of those runs bounced outside.
  12. Gotta get Barkley bottled up.
  13. BAD THINGS MAN!!!! https://youtu.be/HU8gvF6WCIk
  14. Nothing funny about this accusation. Antonio buries himself admitting to jacking off on the accuser. This guy is done in the league. There is no way the Patriots or any team would want him given the credibility of the accusation. If Kaepernick can’t find a suitor for taking a knee, this guy won’t after the Patriots cut him loose. This is the end of AB in the NFL.
  15. If we win I don’t care how bad or ugly Allen plays. Big Ben won a Super Bowl playing at a sub starter level. You can win in the NFL looking ugly. That said, I don’t think we can win many games turning the ball over 4 times in one half, especially against NE or KC.
  16. He kinda reminds me of a slow TE who can also play Hback. He looks like Nick O’Leary on his routes and seems to be open if Allen wants to just find a checkdown. Pretty reliable hands and versatility to motion out wide and force someone to account for him.
  17. Allen was a few inches off on the Beasley ball but I do like the fact it was low and set Beasley up to get to the ground and not take a big hit. Beasley should be had his hands on the ball but some of that is on Allen for not throwing the ball a bit slower so the deflection would not have been as strong. 5mph slower and the ball is likely caught or it gets there 1/10 slower allowing Beasley to catch it in the breadbasket. On the second pick you see Allen stare the WR down (not good) and a DL simply times his jump to get a deflection. Allen needed to look that one off with his eyes, pump fake, or eat the ball and try to sprint to the edge looking for a dump off/throw out of bounds/or take a few yards on an outside scramble.
  18. Allen leaves his feet a lot and this is good because it saves his legs from being taken out, the unfortunate downfall is it opens him up to more head injuries and the possibility of people driving his shoulders into the ground.
  19. I’ll take 65% and W on the road in a Division game.
  20. Gore takes a year to get to the edge. Also why not use him between the tackles? He’s a one cut runner not a break an edge run guy.
  21. I love Allen’s arm. It’s crazy.
  22. Mosley is a great MLB
  23. Allen needs to have big balls. Who dafaq cares about the first 3.5 Qtrs. Man up bro
