Every one on the DL is fixated on getting to 12 they simply using that aggression & dumping it over the top. I see a lot of guys getting out of position. Need to lock it up.

I think the idea is the Patriots have a good idea about blocking schemes and where to send the overload. This is all preparation and planning and overload ‘blitzing’ the side of the punters kicking leg. The idea is they use bigger front line guys to push back the ST blockers and send a rover behind to penetrate shooting the gap and getting a hand on it.

The K-Gun had 25 plays. It’s about pace, and execution. Look at the Ravens they have 30 plays max.

Allen is most dangerous when he rolls right and is a duel threat to run or pass. Dude just needs to have better anticipation and timing. A big play was his back shoulder fade to John Brown last week. I don’t think he’s ever completed one since the pass to Benjamin vs Jax last year, but I believe that had more to do with Benjamin’s huge frame making a big boy catch. The throw to Brown was a perfectly underthrown.

We have two more games before the playoffs. I’m going to make a wild prediction. We host the Steelers in 3 weeks.

I have been tuning in since the late 80s & I haven’t tuned out. This team is special. I know Allen is far from a finished product but he seems to have the talent to create magic in the postseason if he can dial it down and take what the defense gives him.

Allen has big hands is 6’5” 240 & fumbles all the time. Not sure it’s a hand size thing. I think most fumbling is extra effort & not going down. TJ Watt was punching everything in sight & missed on & Allen run and nearly ended his reproductive career.

If we put him on ice I’m not sure he ever de-thaws. Better to keep pounding him forward 1, 2, -3, 3 yards at a time. He goes in when we need to grind & the D knows we are running. At this point his purpose is to give Singletary a break & let the young buck rest.

Yeldon is a good back, but Gore can pass protect & get 1 yard consistently.
