  1. I always find it funny when the refs give the Pats the extra foot or two, and our guys get the spot walked back 2’. It’s a game of inches & the refs typically make it a game of feet.
  2. Gilmore has been equally as good plus he won the head to head. Not fair. But this is how we grade out QBs, Wins & Losses.
  3. Josh Allen > Tim Tebow. Although in Tebow’s lone playoff win he managed to eclipse 300 yards. Maybe Allen will do the same, but he won’t have the weapons Tebow had; Demarious Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Eric Decker. I believe Thomas had 3 50+ receptions in that game.
  4. If they only throw 3 passes the first 29 minutes as they did last week I’m cool with that, as long as Gore & Yeldon carry the rock.
  5. If Tim Tebow can win a playoff game so to can Josh Allen.
  6. No All Pros waiting in the wings? I recall the Steelers LB U had a few come off their bench in 2004 to spoil our playoff hopes.
  7. 30 assuming all were Allen and not Barkley.
  8. It’s no secret Lorenzo Alexander is a valuable veteran linebacker & has made incredible plays over the past 4 seasons for our defense. Remember the goal line stuff of Leornard Fournette? Amazing. That said on both the Patriots TDs Saturday, Alexander was beaten both in pass coverage & couldn’t bring down Burkhead despite Star having him partially wrapped up. Does a younger more explosive linebacker make the play? Maybe. Would an elite talent like TJ Watt or Luke Kuechley make those plays? Probably so. Putting that in consideration what is the likelihood McD pulls a Wade Phillips Johnson over Flutie & uses the Jets game to see if a backup LB can better play Zo’s position? Will Zo ride the pine in our Wild Card playoff game likely down in Houston? Is Zo resigned come 2020 or does he retire?
  9. Star & Zo missed tackling Burkhead in the go ahead TD run. Those are the kind of plays that get you replaced in the rotation. Imagine if we had TJ Watt over Zo. That is the difference on many of these outcomes. Zo was beat on both Patriots TDs. They abused the 36 year old grizzly veteran & made us pay.
  10. Can he get Allen to pass to him on 1st or 2nd down for easy yards?
  11. ESPN is right about one thing Josh Allen is the most inaccurate starting QB in the NFL. Outside of that stats we get a range of opinions. I think Allen simply doesn’t read the defense early enough & doesn’t get to his hot read early enough. Instead he stays in the pocket or scrambles trying to find deeper patterns developing. There is no shame in getting the ball out early on 1st or 2nd down passes.
  12. Allen is not on par with most QBs, he has the lowest completion percentage among starting QBs. So the question remains, why?
  13. Can we conceivably not play any of our starters in this game? I mean how many guys will have to play that have no business being on the field?
  14. A 33 year old RB who smokes mad weed & hasn’t played in 12 months? What could go wrong? Good luck Seattle.
  15. If Allen completes more than 60% of his passes in a playoff game I’d be impressed. So far the one constant in our losses outside of the Pittsburgh game is when Allen’s completion % is sub 60% we lose. He’s 1-5 on the year his lone victory being over a Duck led anemic Pittsburgh offense.
  16. The only stat I care about 10-5 as the starting QB. Also it is worth noting Allen has the lowest completion percentage among starting QBs this season. Is this a concern? Sure. Is this the reason we have lost 5 games? No. Is Allen accurate on long passes? He’s improved over the course of the year. IF Allen continues improving his touch and long ball accuracy I have no doubt his underneath throws will become easier as defenses will have to account for his long ball. Think no more cover 0 all out blitzes.
  17. I see Shaq as 2012-2013 equivalent of Jerry Hughes, perhaps the Colts gave up on Hughes too early? I don’t mind keeping Lawson around for year 5 & beyond if we can get Hughes level production age 26-30. That said we still could use an elite edge rusher who can also defend in space & seal the edges. That likely won’t be a guarantee pick 22 or beyond but they do exist. The Bills need another great draft & also find some vets interested in joining a winning culture. Another crazy idea would be adding a top level talent at corner to help defend the numerous passing offenses across the AFC. Think White caliber who we napped late in 1st round 2017. Adding a WR, DE/Edge, CB, OT, WLB would be my goal. 11 personnel Brown, Beasley, Rookie WR/FA DE/Edge - Hughes-Rookie/FA CB - replace Wallace/Johnson with stud Rookie CB OT/RT - Nsehke replacement Rookie slide Ford to RG WLB - Zo replacement, a TJ Watt DE/Edge caliber talent - Rookie.
  18. So much better than Duck-Rudolph
  19. Big Ben hasn’t looked good in 3 years. He’s a flat footed Rivers & would have needed to go full TB12 & sacrificing peasants to play in his 40s. I don’t see how you come back from that injury at age 38.
  20. We could use a Bosa - Watt level talent. Any more brothers coming out?
  21. Brady is one clean hit away from the end of his career. He’s going down soon.
  22. Lowest completion % in the NFL. Should we be concerned?
  23. 27 is fairly old by NFL standards. He’s 5 seasons in.
  24. Why does it seem that completing a pass is so difficult when Brady hits checkdowns, screens, outs and crosses with ease? I mean 13 completed passes in 4 Qtrs is Tyrod Taylor.
  25. Morse & Nsekhe are older & appear more injury prone. They are good when healthy but that is a 50/50 proposition. I think Morse is overpaid for what we are getting.
