I’d like to focus on TE, DE, C, RB, OL. I believe we will get a couple of FA, and fill the rest through the draft.

Herbert is great, but the Chargers defense is the problem. Daboll gets his chance to run the show.
-
Neither team. It comes down to who plays better.

Why is Allen's improvement linked to Daboll?

Daboll should stay and build a perennial top 5 offense. -
Well now I'm mad..... Talking heads Lamar vs. Josh
Dr.Sack replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lamar is a supremely talented football player. What he lacks in pass abilities he more than makes up for with amazing scrambling and designed runs. That said an offense he QB’d 15/16 games for came in dead last in passing. I wish him well from a health perspective but if this guy suffers a lower body injury he’s basically just another fill-in QB. To that extent I’d make Jackson pass by loading the box and bringing the house down on him, playing a single high safety. -
“Why do racist people like Trump?”That’s a great question. I believe Trump has done zero to progress the cause of racism in our country. Very little policies that racists want promoted were implemented. I’d wager Trump had been a massive disappointment for deeply committed racists. To that extent it is hard to be a revolutionary in a counter-revolution party. Clearly the next Trump most not talk out of both sides of their mouth and be more openly racist and brazen than Trump was.

Our lines need to take this next game personally

I thought our OL was great in pass protection & the fumble recovery was perfect timing. As for our DL I put a lot of that on the edge losing containment and not funneling the run back into the middle. -
MAGA crowd isn’t really the party though. Most Trump voters like Hitler voters are followers. When a slicker Trump comes along with a more relatable redneck accent Trump is toast.

Little Marco or Nikki 6 Hailey will win.
-
GOP struggling to find an identity post-MAGA. Maybe you can get behind minority leader Tortoise McConnell.
-
‘Law & Order’ splitting MAGA. Only 8% support the Trump coup, and now 95% no Trump 2024? Sad day when they can’t get on the same page.

Weird thing about Bills vs Ravens history

Fights in the stands during Wild Card Game? WTF?
Dr.Sack replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills dad had the high ground and lost simply due to lack of killer instinct. Once dude slipped and banged his knees he needed to deliver the knock out head shot, instead he let dude regain footing and take away one of his arms when high ground dude went for chokehold. Amateur. -
Looking specifically at Edmunds / Milano it is my belief that linebackers should also rotate as we do with DL. Perhaps every 3rd or 4th possession, would help these guys stay fresh so we can close out the 4th Qtr. There isn’t much of a drop off between Klein and Matakevich/Dodson.

Richard Sherman: Josh Allen reminds me of Aaron Rodgers

Allen is just as mobile as Rodgers, has Favre’s arm, and is developing Rodgers touch. What a QB run Green has had from 1993-present day. Allen is definitely a rare QB. What impresses me the most is the work he puts in at getting better every off season, and his ability to be self-critical. About the only thing I see he could improve on are his diet, and plyometric training. If Allen could be as pliable as Brady; and as ripped as Brees he could dominate well into his 40s! -
The best runners on snow are typically faster, one-cut power running backs, who can get low and have bulk. Ricky Williams, Marshawn & Fred Jackson could all run in snow. Kenneth Davis could, Thurman was also good, but our shotgun handoff counter play would usually take too long and get snuffed out. If there is significant snow I do believe this great helps our defense as Jackson won’t be as fast and would lose his ability to juke laterally and would force him to commit to a running lane earlier than he would like.

Buf 31 Bal 00 My take is McD & Frazier find a way to totally take away the Ravens run game and the Bills build a 14 point lead at halftime, have a huge 4th and goal stop to start the 3rd Qtr & roll to their first shutout victory in playoff history. The Bills will run for over 200 yards & the Ravens will turn the ball over 3 times.

Tthe Colts and Bills were evenly matched teams. Rivers brought his A game, and their OL and defensive front 7 did too. Fortunately for us Allen brought his MVP level game, outside the ugly fumble at the end that nearly cost us the game. In Allen’s defense he knew 27-24 was a tenuous lead and we needed a TD to ice the game. And we weren’t that far away from that reality. For the Bills the pass rush was simply outmatched. The Bills lack of pressure on 4 man rushes vs the Colts top of the league OL meant the Bills brought extra pressure and men open as pass defense cannot hold up well beyond 3-5 seconds. One way to fix this is to simply force the issue and bring obvious pressure off the edges from the corners. Also there appears to be a need to mix in AJ Klein on 3rd down blitzing linebacker packages. Each week presents a new challenge, so the Ravens strengths are not the Colts. As good as Lamar Jackson is he is a different QB than Philip Rivers. With Jackson you want him in the pocket for 4-5 seconds. That said chasing after Lamar is tiring on a front 7 so it will be vital to shut down their early down running game and force Lamar into 3rd and longs.

Lamar Jackson is an amazing scrambler, and such a run threat, that it opens up defenses to come forward and leaves passes open over the top.
